  1. Puel - 'he has to go'. He went, things didn't get better. pellegrino - 'he has to go'. He went, things didn't get better. Hughes - 'he has to go'. He went, things didn't get better. Ralph - 'he has to go'. Things won't get any better. How many managerial changes will it take before people realise it's not the problem that needs addressing??
  2. I don't think anyone is 'excited' by the result but even the most miserable, pessimistic fan could see the effort from our players and how hard City had to work for their victory. A lot of teams will get badly turned over at the Etihad this season and thankfully we're not one of them.
  3. How can he give us anything when we've never got the ball?
  4. Strange to be typing this, but Vest has been immense so far.
  5. A very good backs to the wall performance so far. It's highly unlikely it will stay 0-1 but a bit of pride has been restored.
  6. Today will end somewhere between a 4 and 7 nil defeat, I can't see any other outcome.
  7. Look on the bright side, we're now in the record books.
  8. Decent away point against a form team and unlucky not to snatch it with JWP's free kick. Onward and hopefully upward.
  9. We'll lose, that's a given, and despite the inevitability of it people will still be ranting and pointing fingers. The bottom line is we're not very good and no amount of juggling the line up will change that. If we finish 17th come May I'll be happy enough because that's our level.
  10. So many 'customers', so few fans.
  11. Game over? It's the 16th minute ffs!
  12. You sir, are a ****
  13. It really isn't.
  14. Nailed on defeat I'm afraid, happy to be proved wrong though.
  15. You sound like fun.
  16. Jesus f*****g christ, all anyone does here is moan endlessly and berate our players for not being world-beaters. We are a bottom 6 side, get used to it and get behind the team for a change.
  17. It's good to see some cautious optimism here but I would be amazed if we got anything other than a comprehensive loss regardless of line up or formation. Despite recent results Spurs are a very good side and the backlash is probably about due. Hope I'm wrong.
  18. No worries, we're playing well and there's plenty of time to put things right.
  19. Blah blah relegation beckons, blah blah entire squad is rubbish, blah blah RH is a fraud etc etc. Am I doing this right?
  20. Off the top of my head, Mick Channon, Ian Rush, Robbie Keane, Mark Hughes. I'd have him back for a nominal fee.
  21. Perhaps you're new to this, a football match lasts 90 minutes, not 30.
  22. Seriously, what are you talking about?? Less than half an hour in and you think we're hoping to scrape a point?
  23. Not really, it came back at him very quickly.
  24. A good away performance imo and I'm sure we'd all have taken a point before the game.
  25. This was never a game we were likely to win, likewise the Watford game. As long as we get at least 4 points from the home games then all is well.
