  1. Isn't that what Puncheon was ? Such a shame we sold him on Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  2. Totally agree . Seems very odd to turn down an excellent manager for the sake of one employment position . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  3. Mainly because I'm cynical I guess . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  4. This new direction is quite concerning . It could be a real emphasis on fast tracking the academy players into the 1st team so they can be in the shop window . Sacrifice the league position but increase the money into the club... Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  5. Is it possible he wanted more transfer money than Saints were prepared to give ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  6. Would love Hiddink . Even made Australia look like a half decent team and they are rubbish Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  7. Is this the same media that the club fed stories to regarding such and such player isn't for sale ? My point is that our club statements are about as trustworthy as our tabloids . Imagine Les Reed releasing a statement saying that the club isn't interested in replacing their most influential midfielder again . The fans would go berserk . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  8. Its reported in the Media ?? Must be true then All hail the Daily Telegraph! We are saved !! Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  9. Well I didn't say that but it is your style to exaggerate and make things up . We didn't replace Morgan or Clyne . Les Reed has often championed Harrison Reed . Is it beyond you to accept that Les could be happy leaving Romeu to play Wanyama's role thus allowing Harrison Reed back into the squad ? Is it really so implausible ? 10. Well after buying Cedric and Martina I lost a little faith as to how much we would spend on a ' quality replacement ' . I would think Saints would spend as little as possible and may even not replace him at all . Its cheaper to stick with Romeu and that allows Les Reeds favorite player back into the squad . 11. Ah yes , the typical small minded name calling from behind the keyboard . I appreciate that abusing others helps with your lack of self esteem and the fact that you have a very tiny todger but really it is getting tiresome . I get that you're a sad , pathetic and lonely man but thats your problem and you need to deal with it in your own time . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  12. I wonder how little we will budget for his replacement Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  13. I've never pretended to like him . I don't rate him at all but we ended up 6th . Most on here seem convinced that we will just hire a better manager and continue our climb up the table . Better managers cost more than we would usually spend . They also want better players as well . Many on here claim that Saints are a massively attractive team to manage but we survive on a budget . We sell our best players and replace with cheaped alternatives. Our wage structure is one of the lowest etc . Pursuading a new quality manager to take up the challenge may be tougher than we think . My feelings towards Koeman are irrelevant. I think we have made a mistake letting him go now rather than next season Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  14. Like anything it is possible . He was demanding Saints show more ambition and was possibly frustrated at the upcoming sales of our top players again . Hence why he hadn't signed . Koeman may have used the Everton info to argue his case to Saints . If nothing else Saints didn't have to give Everton permission to talk to Koeman . He could have finished his final year and allowed us to find the manager we want rather than make do with whatever we can get . Hell this new direction thats been mentioned might have been further cost cutting and to aim for survival rather than Europe . The new TV deal will still make Saints plenty of profit . I just think we don't need to carry on like the jilted ex . Saints made to choice to end it now . Not Koeman Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  15. This is how I see it as well . Koeman is not the bad guy here and the hate being thrown his way has been engineered by Saints themselves . We are also being incredibly cocky and arrogant towards Everton by slagging off Koeman . Its quite possible he was as good as we could afford . We may not be able to afford a better manager and/or wouldn't appeal to one either . We just may end up going backwards after all this . I don't like Koeman but Saints may have been better off allowing him to run his final year while arranging the next manager in advance . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  16. Wow you must be running out of insults and belittling comments . Not surprising considering how many posters you have picked on these past few days . This one is really pathetic though. Thought you would do so much better . I don't need more than 3 posts anyway. Unlike saddo's like you I have better things to do than sit behind my computer , poised to strike down any poster who holds an actual opinion . Your ****e eating smug persona is slipping Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  17. Interesting how so many now claim that Korman is average and will fail at Everton even with better financial backing . I got shouted down for not rating him during his time with us ... His perceived lack of loyalty ( its just a job ) has certainly enabled many posters to try and rewrite history . So which is it ? Is he now an average manager or is he amazing ? Personally I'm quite intrigued who we may end up with even though I have little faith in the board . Am interested what this new direction is though as I think we have gone as far as our funding can allow . Never a dull moment with Saints Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  18. I hope this is true but the only manager we will get who is someone who will use us as a stepping stone . Top managers won't be overly keen to join a club which has a such tight financial constraints compared to other similarly sized clubs . Any new manager will have to accept the board selling our best players each season and then the gamble of rebuilding with cheaper players . To get a top manager to accept those constraints will be challenging and most likely we will have this same result every few years . Unless we can increase our financial income to counter the ffp we will always struggle to hold on to any one . Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  19. I get that you're not very bright so I will keep the words as short as possible . I said I don't believe Les Reed when he talks about ambition . I think the board have no interest in it at all . At no stage did I say they should spend up big to chase the big boys . Just wish they would stop harping on about it . We won't match Koemans ambition . May be idiots like you should read posts more carefully Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  20. Yes . Exactly that . Why own a football team in the EPL if all you want to do is avoid debt ? This is why I don't believe the team when they mention ambition and Champions League . I don't believe for a second that the board really want that as they lack the attitude to fund it . Its all ******** to fool the fans Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  21. I'm not surprised that any manager would want to commit to a club with proper ambition . Saints will always talk about ambition but never really walk the walk . We could just as easily come 17th or 7th . The board want profit and as long as we are in the EPL then they are happy . Personally I've never liked Koeman so it doesn't bother me for him to leave . Reading Always SFC's posts screeching hysterically at other posters has been really amusing ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  22. Still no opinion on the forum thread ? So strange . Totally unlike you . Have you considered your own forum where you are the only member ? At least there you wouldn't have to tell other posters off constantly Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  23. It would also be nice if you offered a valid opinion of your own rather than criticizing someone else for having one ? Personally I just hope Prowse isn't getting paid too much as he is a bit part player . Highly unlikely he will suddenly improve . Would quite happily see him loaned out to the Championship for a few seasons . See , thats an opinion . Now you try it ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  24. Not trolling . We are poor in attack . We have scored to simple goals against the worst side in the league . That same side is waltzing through our midfield and defence . Their goal had been coming for a while . Really you guys must be dumb if you think thats trolling Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  25. We are so damned average its painful . Can't finish and can't defend . Koeman is doing anything but improving us Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
