The last few seasons we actually had a go though . We were never terrified of them . Last few seasons we were not really scared of anybody . We had our areas of strength and played to them . Just watched the game again . Nice to see Fonte playing well again. Romeu was excellent. Vvd was fantastic but looks very frustrated. Bertrand also looked frustrated. I've wondered if it was Reed who decided that Redmond should be bought and turned into a striker . It strikes me as odd that he is pretty much first on the team sheet even though he is inconsistent. Chelsea looked like the best team in the league today . Losing was not a disgrace . What was concerning was how easy we were nullified. They were set up to contain us and did it with ease . I doubt a full strength Saints would have been able to have changed that . Other teams will see how to copy Chelsea and nullify our formation . Puel will need to change things to suit . Tbf it was the right choice . The league is more important and I wouldn't risk Austin more than absolutely necessary. I wouldn't have brought him on at all . Haha so another poster who can't handle someone having a different opinion . Why does it offend you so much that as of yet I don't rate Puel ? I am interested to see how we perform against higher quality teams who are on form . That will be the real test to see if we have progressed . The point of changing the formation/style/tactics etc is for us to improve . As yet I don't think we have and thats proven with out attacking statistics . You really are dense if you think I want us to lose to City or any team . I want us to start well , control the game and be incisive and attacking in our goal attempts and solid in our defence . At this point I don't see anything to suggest that appointing Puel has improved the team over last season . I have different expectations and demands to you . Thats actually allowed in real life .
