You both fail to realize that you can't force fans to like him . You can mention anything you like but you are in the minority here . Poch was way superior to Puel and you both know it . You can keep mentioning us being in 9th but its not the end of the season yet and chances are we could just as easily finish in 16th . You ignore this because it doesn't fit your agenda . Can you tell me how many times you saw Stephens play before Fonte was sold ? You say Puel has improved him but I doubt you ever saw him before in any detail . He is only getting played because of lack of alternatives. Yoshida is pretty much the same as always Romeu was always good but has benefitted from being our only defensive midfielder and therefore not rotated . Well I disagree that Long had a purple patch . I think he was just used effectively, something Puel is incapable of . Forster wasn't bang average last season . Yes he had more protection but he was also pushing for the England no.1 spot . He was full of confidence and much more effective at stopping shots . Bertrand was much more effective and positive . Davis was much more positive and bursting into the oppositions half although was still useless in the box . He wasn't the crab footballer he has become . Fonte also was much more solid . Virgil was more effective before Fonte was benched . I disagree that Prowse has improved. Still a lower league player whose only claim to fame is being from the academy . Happy clappers seem to ignore how certain players were much more effective under previous managers Plus if Puel changes the squad the usual suspects will trot out the usual ' transitional season ' rubbish which basically means the manager isn't responsible for anything what so ever .
