It welcome news, but it's just another example of flawed board level decision making, a list which grows by the month. They haven't exactly given the new guy much breathing room, and he's/we've been lumped with Carillo...a player we can all assume we would never have signed without Pellegrino. The board should've decided before Jan whether they believed the squad was underperforming, in which case fire him, or decide the squad isn't good enough, and add quality in several positions. They did neither. So, as above, great news, the board have made the right decision, and conversely, provided further affirmation of their incompetence.

If there was another poll, I'd seriously consider changing my position to 'Out'.

Exactly. Tadic, Redmond, and Boufal have contributed effectively f*ck all the entire season...why persist? At least some of the younger guys have a decent/hungry attitude.

The Bertrand/Tadic combination was one of the most threatening aspects of our attacking play, so it's nice to see us shove Redmond out on the left with Bertrand instead

I wish we would give some of the younger guys a go in these games....Sims and Hesketh in particular. No need for extensive changes, but one or two of our academy players would be beneficial long-term.

F*cking Hoedt. If it isn't Stephens, it's Hoedt, and if it isn't Hoedt, it's Stephens. Most of the time I think he's going to turn out to be a decent CB, and then he has a mare like today. Get Yoshida back out there. Or something. There has been such a degradation in our defending this year, which is some achievement given our generally cautious line-ups
