  1. Not so sure why the club are wishing him well....I think that sentiment should be revoked when you justify c*nt status on a continual basis
  2. Good chunk of money. Happy to be rid of the cancerous oaf now, especially at that price. Don't really care that it's to Liverpool, since our current predicament negates the luxury of being able to orchestrate where he ends up, i.e. we simply need max £, all of which should be reinvested (minus dues to Celtic, agents, etc)....and not on underwhelming strikers like Vietto and Ings
  3. When was this/Where is this?
  4. I seem to recall a lack of offers
  5. Would still have a massive attitude problem, thus inherently unlikeable.
  6. What's been said? Not that it comes as a surprise with perennial moaners Tadic and Redmond in there.
  7. Just ridiculous
  8. Which makes the Sam Gallagher loan all the more ridiculous. Not that I'm pretending Sam is our saviour, but variety/options/a range of strikers and all that.
  9. They did.
  10. Why would a manager not make a substitution or two in these conditions? :S
  11. I've been very pro-Reed over the last few years, and deservedly so, but *something* has to change, and if it doesn't, you have to question his judgement/sanity. This performance is beyond concerning.
  12. Pellegrino needs to make 3 subs in pure protest, Forster being one of them (although not culpable for 4th, obvs)
  13. No changes?
  14. Is there a reason Pied isn't playing at right back? Any mention of it/him pre-match?
  15. Who was at fault then? Everyone? No energy in the team
  16. Can someone pleeease give Forster another 5 year contract!
  17. Be interested to know where you read this, since I've only ever read the opposite. But in answer to your question, yes, in general terms, I believe it's plausible that the effects of coaching, and confidence/form can transcend one season (although in this instance I was postulating). Edit: Anyway, I'm 'Pellegrino out' now Be interested to hear some of the reasoning from people who are still for him.
  18. Kudos to Forster for having a little laugh with a few of the Chelsea players at the end. Chap deserves it.
  19. If McCarthy can't get a game against this version of Forster, then they both need shipping out. It's inconceivable that a goalkeeper in this form hasn't got backup that can be trusted/turned to.
  20. That sack of sh*t!
  21. Stephens and Yoshida in next game, please.
  22. Time to switch to a Go
  23. For a side which is always winning, the atmosphere at the Etihad is *appalling*
  24. How do you know that isn't a residual effect from last season? As far as I'm concerned (hence voting in), he's always been pragmatic about a side whose goal scoring confidence was abysmally low, variations when things didn't work/etc. I remember all the stick after the Brighton result, Adam Blackmore asked him if he instructed the players to defend (after going 1 up) and he was categorical that he didn't...which suggests residual effects/low confidence/failure to communicate ideas to me. Which isn't to say he shouldn't have corrected these issues/etc, but I don't buy into the negative manager spiel.
