  1. +1 I have the app for this on my phone and find it very useful for helping maintain weight when doing a lot of training. I know a few others who are using it to help with weight loss and it's really working for them too.
  2. I use inSSIDer on the PC for this, also available for Mac http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/
  3. I've had a Humax Foxsat HDR for a few years now. I've been happy with it. The HD is good on the few HD channels on Freesat. The worst thing about the Humax for me is that the remote responsiveness isn't the greatest, but I've got used to the lag over time. If you get a brand new box then make sure you peel off the thin protective film from the front flip panel (it's very thin and not obvious it's there unless you scratch away at the edges looking for it), and then remove the second protective film covering the LCD and remote sensor behind the flip panel (even less obvious), otherwise the remote control will be very directional and not work off-centre. HD recordings can fill up the drive pretty quickly, so once it was out of warranty I replaced the standard 320GB drive with a 1TB drive as per this guide: http://www.astra2d.com/harddrive.html and installed customised firmware to enable it for network storage / media server, as per http://www.avforums.com/forums/freesat/1517610-media-file-server-bundle-foxsat-hdr-release-4-0-a.html
  4. Same again. Also worth noting for those who set up Hotmail on their iPad/iPhone Mail app in the olden days as a POP3 account, Hotmail now supports ActiveSync (MS Exchange protocol), so if you re-add your Hotmail account you'll get properly sync'd Hotmail folders in your Mail app instead of the one POP3 Inbox.
  5. Did you sort this out yet? There will be a Freesat setting where you can specify your postcode, from that it sets up which default regional channels to use. The Bravia should have prompted you during setup when you first chose satellite. There should also be a menu you can access to change the postcode.

  7. I'd also like to say Yaris - my sister had one for a few years and it was reliable and cheap to run and insure - but at £1000 you'd be looking at the worst available examples only, so maybe not such a good idea. If you're already considering a Polo then could be worth adding Skoda Fabia to the list?
  8. I doubt you'll get to find out, as they'll probably all have been hoofed over hedges and lost by the end of pre-season. 8-[
  9. Lol. The A3 is all but 'another Golf'.
  10. The 'powerbar' design is quite good for that: http://www.ukfitnesssupplies.co.uk/productdetail.asp?productcatalogue=POWERBAR I used one for about a year and it worked well. Then I moved house last year and all of our doorways are in room corners or the doors open the wrong way, which means I don't get to use it any more. So if anyone in Southampton wants one on the cheap... Agree with that - I've known a few ex army and ex pro sportsmen, who all became fatsos once they moved into 'ordinary' jobs.
  11. Agree with your point on most of those - but "businessman" - What did you mean by that? I meet plenty of people that you could deem to be 'business men' who are successful in business without having been to university.
  12. So do I. So this better still be on regardless of the weather...
  13. Probably. Will confirm later in the week.
  14. Ok you can put me down as a yes then, as it looks like there's at least a 4-a-side worth of definites now...
  15. x2 And no, I'm not marrying The9. Would like to play a bit of football but might just go for a run instead, as that doesn't rely on other people actually turning up.
