This was clearly a Freudian slip and they have knowledge Ronaldo is coming to the South Coast. FACT! You heard it here first! Watch this space!

Why would he even want to play for Spurs? He'll have to find a new place and London is a big city. This transfer saga will drag on all summer so he'll be forced to find a place quickly and because Spurs players are mean and won't help him he'll wind up settling in Hackney. Then he needs an Oyster Card. He'll mistakenly take the Northern line to Tottenham Court Road and by the time he figures it's a different place he'll be on a Victoria or Picadilly line train with a bunch of Arsenal numpties, they'll harass him and he'll show up to White Hart Lane late and in tears. Just don't bother Toby. Stay here under Big Ron's tender love and care and everything will be ok.

Any chance of a travel section? Since the site has members from across the world and topics come up on the lounge concerning hotel suggestions, etc it'd be nice to have one place to collect those suggestions. Not to turn it into a Tripadvisor but it's usually one of the few threads that doesn't spiral into political debate or name calling.

Good for him, he'll enjoy playing under Klopp or Ancelotti in 6 months. -
Hello to our Aussies friends. Heading to the land down under next year (Aprilish) and I plan to see three things - Sydney, the jungle (coupled w/ the GBR because they're usually near each other) and the Outback. Port Douglas is my planned stop for the jungle/GBR but I'm having difficulty trying to nail down the Outback experience. Kimberely looks beautiful but that part of the country seems too far out, Uluru seems too much of a hassle to get to (and pricey) so I've narrowed it down to the Flinders Ranges. Adelaide seems easy to get to from Port Douglas or Sydney and I'd like to stay at a station and there are a few good options in the area. Based on that, am I looking in the right place? The Flinders Ranges have some beautiful features so it seems like a win-win, Outback experience with views. I appreciate any advice. Cheers.

Summer half-time in Sweden....
Saint_Abroad replied to david in sweden's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Thanks for the update, David. I was hoping for a better showing from Hammarby, hopefully the second half will be kinder to them. -
Ah, it's cheaper.

Which club is better: Liverpool, Tottenham, Southampton, or Swansea

No York City? Lame. Up the Minstermen! -
HSE recommends you contact your local council concerning disposal so it's probably a good place to start. https://www.gov.uk/asbestos-in-home For your information, just in case you aren't aware, asbestos is most dangerous when it becomes airborne. Just being in the room isn't necessarily a death sentence and a lot of asbestos abatement consists of sealing it up air tight, rather than removal. I assume it's exposed to the elements? Without knowing how close it is to everything just keep the kids out of it and don't play with what has already fallen.

Question out of curiosity - If we do a deal, would he have to go through a medical? Perhaps to ensure he hasn't contracted Monkeypox whilst on holiday?

CONFIRMED: Saints sign Juanmi on four-year deal
Saint_Abroad replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
He's from Andalusia so perhaps to the above Clash favorite we start "Juanmi comes from Anda-lusia....." Maybe leave the Spanish Civil War references out. ....apologies in advance. -
CONFIRMED: Cédric to Saints on four-year deal

Take note Spurs, this is what a big club looks like. -
Doesn't it sort of become a quasi-tax? If you really want to see a match you'll pay the £25. I can't imagine a majority of the people who normally attend a Saints match would now refuse to go because of 25 quid, baring the odd anecdotal story. However, I do like the ability to buy tickets from season ticket holders that can't attend matches. I know ticket resale is a sticky subject in the UK but this is a safer, more controlled method of ensuring that Sain't fans get those seats at a reasonable price.

Where have a seen this design before? Ah yes.....

I get Austin is tough up front and will work for a goal but where will he fit in? Will he sit behind Pelle and Long in the pecking order? I'd like to experiment with Long alone up top, sans Pelle.

Our arch New Forest "rivals" will be visiting the city of brotherly love next month to take on the Philadelphia Union. Any Philadelphia area Saints (there are none) plan on attending? I plan to be there but mostly to give a firm handshake and get a picture with our old pal Arty. It's a nice stadium in a horrifically dangerous area of Pennsylvania but they serve Kona on tap so it's a good time.

Breaking News: Fifa officials arrested.

I haven't read into Blatter's accomplishments as much as I should but I've heard several outlets say he brought the game to the world but how much of that was a result of the internet and TV making it easier ways to view top class football from across the world? In regards to the States, I think NBC has done more over the previous 2 years than Blatter's entire tenure. I vote Figo. Forca Portugal and stuff. -
The Long Overdue Pointless 2015/16 (Adidas) Kit Thread
Saint_Abroad replied to The9's topic in The Saints
I'm surprised there isn't orange on their kits. Don't they have to double as parking attendants before the match? Ooo no one goes to their games, nevermind. Up the Minstermen! -

I loathe this forum because of this thread alone but being the Summer transfer window I thought I'd pop in, sadly this thread still goes on. This particular post hits close to home both figuratively and literally so I'll add, the FBI releases annual reports concerning criminal statistics, one being police deaths. It takes a while to put the report together and the previous year's statistics are published about this time. Note the below link. http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-releases-2014-preliminary-statistics-for-law-enforcement-officers-killed-in-the-line-of-duty Mods - what's the point of this thread? Don't like the US? Great, don't go there. Don't like the UK? Great, don't go there.

His right hand did look it, at least on the line, but hearing Robbie "I played for a big club like Middlesbrough" Mustoe defend Liverpool is enraging.

Long on for Pelle (still love 'em), pace will win this.

A) Are you hiring? B) What's the future of personal listening devices (not sure what to call it)? C) Is Veho investing/designing/creating any of these future devices? D) When will you have a funny commercial? Funny commercials always make a product sell.
