I think if Austin and Jay-Rod are to be selected as starting 11 week in week out with a good run of games will be a fantastic attacking force and with extra spark due to being two English players. I also think they'll build a great partnership too. If Koeman goes down this route next season, then we have some great games to look forward too. But I find it hard to see Koeman shun his Eridivisie boys.

Pelle hardly ever plays well away, so give him a chance to redeem himself. The goals he scored and the assist in the Liverpool game showed this, there is always the option of subbing him if he put on another crap performance. But a inform Pelle is a 'fantastik' player as Koeman would put it.

We didn't play too badly in all honesty, we became a little lax towards the end which was a little frustrating when really we should of been fighting for the equaliser (lost a lot of battles). We were denied the hand ball on Huth from Austins shot, which I'm afraid to say was stonewall.. the Simpson one I would never give, he couldn't do much about it and his body would of blocked the ball anyway. We put up a good fight though, some cracking saves by Forster who kept us in the game.. we was extremely lucky that Mahrez fluffed a chance that should of been a goal all day long. But like with most games it was just that final ball that let us down, onto Newcastle now and 3 points.

'tis a beautiful day to be a Saints fan, cannot believe I missed this game. Think it is the first one of the season I have in fact, maybe that is why the impossible happened. Hearing Wanyama was a tank in midfield and pretty much turnt the game around by winning the midfield battle and allowing us to use our attacking players. Juanmi is without a doubt a skilled and talented prospect. The premier league is probably a little too physical for him at this stage, but that is something players of his stature need to adapt too and that takes time and actual playing time. I feel the move to Southampton was probably the wrong move for Juanmi, as he isn't getting the same amount of game time as he was at Malaga and probably needed another season or so to improve at a club and league he was already settled in. Overall though I'll d like to see more of Juanmi, even if it does take a few games for him to become settled, like it does with most players new to a league.

Absolutely awful performance again, just dire. The annoying fact is this team can easily be good and have shown that in the past, so either they are just not putting the effort in or they've turned crap in a season.

We are looking a bottom half team at the moment, just completely full and no link up play. Martina looks like he doesn't even know how to play RB at a professional level, the amount of space he leaves is un-real.

Definitely Van Dijk he's been the standout player, even in games where we have been poor. The ball is just a magnet to that guy's head. Long would then be my second for sure.

Clattenberg with yet another class decision. Truly don't understand those who says he's a good ref.

Not a must win, but we should be winning considering current form.

Think one of the reasons Clattenburg may have given him a red, and probably shouldn't have been a reason to why, is the fact Victor had already made two or three fouls before the tackle that got him his red. Therefore Victor was already on thin ice for being awarded a yellow. So Clattenburg probably added all these up and just gave the straight red. If he hadn't of committed the fouls before hand, he would of been given a yellow. If that makes any sense at all.

If Austin is deemed fit enough he has to be starting up top alongside Long with Mane just behind. This game is a must win really. Although Swansea are doing better under their new manager, I wouldn't necessarily say they are in form. Considering the results we have gotten away to Manchester United and Arsenal, we should really be getting a clear cut victory.

Was a reckless challenge, but never a red. So can't be pointing too much of a finger at Victor, as he's been solid recently. It is Clattenburg you should be angry with. Bryam's challenge was just as bad and didn't get a red, so he was even non-consistent. Really dislike Clattenburg when he referees our matches, never seem to get anything.. apart from today of course! Which was an outstanding defensive performance.
