I just bought my tickets, and I'm in the upper tier. What's going on there? Have we got to the point where they are now selling to top tier (even allocation in both including the 800 tickets) or are the +800 in the top tier by themselves?

Anyone who brought a ticket know if we are in the top or bottom tier?

Anyone else notice how on the Saints website, the 'allocation' has now been changed to an 'initial allocation'. Looks like we have the option of the top tier.

Does that mean we could potentially get top tier if we sell out the bottom? or is top tier sold out? I assume the club was offered more, but didn't expect to sell out as its midweek and being that far away.

Their allocation was 2600, so Block 43 was always going to be made available to saints fans unless Leicester sold out their allocation.

Whether you agree with it or not, it would massively increase our following to this game ...

Game has been confirmed on Tuesday 16th December 2014, Kick Off 7.45pm. Ticket prices (on Sheffield United's website): £17 Adults £10 Concession £5 Juniors U17.

Lets not forget Saints are charging Villa fans £42 for the game at St marys in a few months ...

Stoke 3rd?! Their 'loud' atmosphere is a myth, my last 2 visits there it's been quieter than most ground I've visited.

I'm pretty useless at thinking up chants, but 'Im into something good' seems like a catchy and relatively easy song to make into a chant. Fc united of Manchester use the song. Woke up this morning feel fine, rhymes with 'Nathaniel Clyne' and 'Ronald Koemans red and white army' can fit into something tells me im into something. Over to someone who can piece it together.

Ive emailed the ticket office & been there in person a few times and have been told that cup games don't count towards away games. Yet I'm still eligible to buy arsenal away tickets - must have recently changed the rules.

The Northam is ********. Most Songs are started in Blocks 38 & 39 in Kingsland North and are killed off by Northam singing at 100 miles per hour. Kingsland North and Itchen North definitely best areas in the ground.

Ah good news. Tickets have been sold in blocks 38 39 & 40 so would expect quite a big turn out

I'd go for: Forster Clyne Gardos Fonte Targett Wanyama Schneiderlin Reed Long Pelle Tadic I'm going up in a group of 5. Pompey took 900 up there on a Wednesday night a few months ago, so we'll have to beat that. I think tickets are only being sold for the back half of each block, the same as the pompey match.

Expect there will be a large walk up crowd tomorrow

The Southampton twitter page has just responded to a fan by saying tickets are still available for tomorrow, seems like an error with the site.

Disagree with people calling for us to play them at their own game, whoever we put out, they'll be more physical than us. Surely playing players who can get the ball down and pass will be a better option and cause more problems.

I'd take him, especially if it was on a free. Don't be fooled by his goal soring record in the prem, Burnley aren't set out to score goals. Put him in our team and I think he'd do a job.

I'd stick to starting Cork, keeping Wanyama out of the team. Stoke may well be a physical team, but we should be playing to their weaknesses not their strengths. Cork will add more to the attack and hopefully start where we left off.

Seating for the game is reserved - I'd assume for every block that sells out they'll open the next one and so on etc. Saves having to open turnstiles/concourse/stewards. Will make for a better atmosphere too.

Generals on Wednesday. Pretty certain it'll reach that, doubt we'll take over 1000 of the 2k + allocation.
