even if you have a season ticket and have done for past 4 seasons - very little chance you’ve been to every game in those 4 years and if you have you’re probably a tad mental or genuinely have absolutely nothing else in life that you even partially enjoy

2nd half and before the Newcastle goal the fans sounded great. Think that's been called out a few times and rightly so.

Lots of money to be made on stocks once things settle.

Absolutely. I wish I had some of your positivity I really do. But Saints have ground me down these past years.
-
I'm just honest mate. Always have been. Some like it, some don't. That's just me I've pulled out the positives from yesterday - for example Alex Mc was outstanding. But for me the rest were poor and I'm not one to force false positives. I respect that you can, we are all different

Be careful wearing those rose tinted glasses for too long.

If Norwich don't target our right side then Farke should be sacked immediately after the game

This season we've been decent away. Won 42% of away league games. But the seasons under Puel/Hughes/Pellegrino our away record was worse than our pathetic home record. And we won just 22% of our away games after Koeman left. So the away form is really just this season

Same "fans" defending yesterday's performance are coincidentally the same "fans" that defended everything after Burnley at home WHU at home Leicester at home Wolves at home Everton at home Bournemouth at home And the same "fans" that appreciated Les Reed / Big Kat our last 8 transfer windows and "proud of us" after only losing 4-0 to Liverpool The acceptance of pure **** is either admirable or pathetic

We are **** but they are ****er 1-1

Fair play to anyone that's been to all home league games last 4 seasons. Can't think that that's more than 1-2 people?

I've noticed the defence of the Jan window has got as weak as our defence since the Jan window -

Or even Sunderland for 35m -
To our home form? Last 4 seasons (in the league) we will win on average just one in 4 games + had to suffer that 9-0 ++ sit with a combined goal difference of minus 28 Played 72 Won 19 Drawn 23 Lost 30 GD -28 2016/17 we won just 6 (Puel) 2017/18 we won just 4 (Pellegrino/Hughes) 2018/19 we won just 5 (Hughes/Ralph) 2019/20 we won just 4 (Ralph) Compare that to Koemans last season where we won 11 and had a GD of +17 Where the F did it all go so Pete tong

If you had the money would you pay 300m for Saints or 300m for Newcastle? Ashley has been trying to flog Newcastle at that price for years and they are a much more attractive option (at that price) than us. -

It's going to be complicated by the 80/20 ownership, state of the current squad and current wage to revenue ratio. If Goa wants 250m for 80% that means a full takeover would cost c300m. Think we will struggle to find a buyer at that price Redbull Saints..... -

Watching the game again, You realise 1) We created very little with 11 then 10 men 2) It's definitely a red card 3) Newcastle should have been 0-3 up at HT 4) It was a penalty 5) The home fans sounded decent from minutes 50-79 6) Valery is a liability 7) Long should have squared the ball 8.) We got nothing, we deserved nothing 9) Being honest is "trolling"
-
You've seen our 'ability' at appointing new managers Puel / Pellegrino / Hughes I'll stick with Ralph thanks.

The Les Reed appreciation thread is still open The ones criticising him and predicting this very day - locked
