Are we absolutely certain thay they can go into voluntary administration with the WUO order hanging over them? I know the media are bleating on about admin without a thought, but is there the possibility that they have made a horrendous c()ck up al la us and admin dates last year?
-
Very well put, and would agree that this is the only way to find out if admin is actually an option now. Only time will tell. Tick Tick Tick............

Could turn out to be a poison chalice if they in under.

BBC reporting that directors of the anti-bullying charity are tory MPs. Starting to smell like spin to me.

Depends what you mean by sports - small squash club/gym in basement of a block of flats. Who knows

FFS Stoke down to 10 men

17,208 for potentially their last ever home match. Greatest fans in the world eh!

Just got the following tweet Portsmouth kick-off delayed - Pompey won't give the referee his coin back. Made me laugh
-
Great result, didn't expect anything to be honest, think that ended 11 home wins on the bounce for them. Happy days.

So Chanari has the stadium AND the land around it now?

I'm not sure the PL holds that sort of money. Seem to remember reading (probably on here over the last 300 or so pages) that they only really act as a conduit for sharing out the revenues to the 20 teams in the league as and when the revenues come in.

See 5Live are at P*mpey from midday today, despite the 5pm KO time. That's twice down there in 3 days. You think they are hoping of some sort of announcement soon?

The SKY money isn't going to be enough to cover the £26M The Guardian are reporting they need to keep running till the end of the season, and they sure ain't gonna make much out of gate receipts either.

Thought of that Raif Bjaiou off The Apprentice and beat it.
-
See post 15252 - thought seems to be that the Directors would become personally liable if liquidated, rather than a few pence in the pound in Administration.
-
So it's dead in the water. Just another smokescreen, like the request for next year's sky payments Monday, and the talk of new owners int he last couple of days. Strikes me as a desparate bid to be seen to be doing something, without actally moving the situation forward to it's obvious conclusion. Liquidation.
-
Presumably they will need to raise a fair chunk of the money owed to HMRC, plus enough to cover this month's wages, through sales in the next 10 days or else they aren't really any further forward. Can anyone see £14M of sales?
-
No, my thoughts too.
-
One thing just struck me that was said at the end of the 5live forum. And that was that there was likely to be another adjournment on the 1st March. Can anyone think why it would be adjourned again, surely the evidence is there now?

All over - no real offer of any hope for the blue few - no one can see anyone wating to take the club on, HMRC will want their £11M if they are bought out of Admin. No assets left at the club meaning it's not attractive in or out of Admin. It's the club's fault.
-
Still hoping for Admin
-
ha Ha - they've picked up the Channon rumour. Best yet

Claridge - PFc has nothing to offer investors
