Why is there still this insistence on ignoring that MS and his agent WERE spoken with before the announcement? There was obviously no agreement ("oi Snide-erling, you're staying here buster" kind of thing) but the contact happened. Only his decision to behave the way he currently is.

Do we think that maybe, with the arrival of FF specifically, SFC will be seen as a good bet for incoming players who may otherwise have dismissed us?

Since when have the demands of an individual outweighed the needs of the club? He could play a starring role here and get very much noticed by DD. How about you contribute 10% of your net income to the development of the club as a way of helping? Or would you rather KL input her own money (ie not that earned by the club) to fulfil your fantasies? I would much rather we looked for self-sufficiency as the way to go, for our futures sake.

My perspective of my 'belief in' the board (as opposed to trust)... Losing Rickie - I believe!! (the emphasis is very much t.i.c here guys, don't flame me) Losing Lallana - after his 'performance', I still believe Losing Shaw - was going to happen any way - belief is still there.... Losing Lovren - no way he could stay - yup, belief is healthy.... Losing Chambers - er, what? Why? Belief not so hot now Losing Osvaldo - who? Gaining Pelle, Taider and Bernard - believe board and manager are working together well Any one else in-bound? Time's a-marching guys! - belief getting strained again MoSh and JRod leave before 02.09.2014 - ffs guys, if you can't stick to your promises you shouldn't make them and I'm beginning to wonder whether you are geared up to compete this season or are looking to put together a very basic EPL team that may be intended to also boost it's saleability. As said elsewhere, we may have a PL team, but very much a Championship squad. However, right now, I appreciate they do have a difficult task, are very much caught between a rock and a hard place so I'm still, currently, viewing the whole SFC management squad (Directors down) in a favourable light

Fair assessment IMO

As a general observation, and so not specifically aimed in any way at saint_ed, I really do wish that when statements such as this are made, the 'fact' is backed up with 'evidence' to allow others to take an informed position. Way too often I see fact/FACT/FACT shouting at me but with nothing to show as to why I should accept said 'fact'. A simple it's a 'fact', because.... is all that's needed IMHO of course.
