I don't want to have a go at Nige, I love the guy and I love the attacking football we play. We are such an attacking side now that the gameplan is basically "if you score one, we'll score two", I just wonder what happened to the "defences win championships" philosophy?

In the last ten years, I think we've all looked forward to the derbies, we may have felt awful when we got beat, but how we loved it when we won. We all say how intense the rivalry is and everyone loves remembering the times we turned them over. That's what football is about, rivalries, bragging rights, fixtures to look forward to. If Pompey are liquidated, you could argue they'll never get back to the same level us as and therefore bang goes any realistic prospect of competitive derby matches for the forseeable future. Therefore it's got to be B

I'm sure I heard the other day that a stipulation of having a Rugby World Cuip venue is that no other sports matches can be played there while the world cup is on. If true, we could have a lot of away matches scheduled!
