  1. GK - Krul RB - Debuchy CB - Davies? CB - Caulker? Shawcross? LB - Bertrand (loan from chelsea) Ben Davies? CDM - Noble CDM - Medel RAM - Puncheon CAM - Arnautovic? Holtby? LAM - Dyer (swap with RAM) ST - Bony/Benteke
  2. Didn't go myself but apparently some rows were scarfless when people got there, as well as people not getting masks, but they just asked the saints staff in and around the ground and they gave them one. Whether they'd been nicked or just weren't put on every seat in the first place I don't know!
  3. It's between Osvaldo vs City and Lallana vs Hull, but they obviously won't give it to Osvaldo so Lallana for me.. Unless of course someone pops up with something insane vs United!
  4. De Boer 2/1 for Spurs...
  5. Think they're both referring to Poch's future, little hint for the board to offer him a big new deal and what he wants in regards to transfer funds etc
  6. I remember the one you're on about, was right in front of me. He did it all game, great performance from him!
  7. What's the betting that woman asks the same old questions insisting that Shaw IS off to Man U and Poch will leave
  8. I thought it was just another knock picked up in the Cardiff game, we'll find out tomorrow
  9. Can't see Gaston in the training gallery, so I'd start the same team as at Villa or with Gallagher in for JWP. Maybe even use one of the younger lads like McQueen for a bit of pace. Clyne should keep his place because he's better in the final third than Chambers IMO, Wanyama should too because he'll be able to keep Barkley and co quiet. -------AB------- NC--JF---DL--LS ---VW----MS--- SD----AL----JWP -------RL-------
  10. Why do they assume van Dijk would be a Lovren replacement, and not a Maya/Jos replacement?
  11. Hopefully Gaston is back for this one, IMO we were unlucky vs Cardiff not to score first half and he was the main threat. Same team that started vs Villa with Gaston in for JWP if he is fit. Clyne will add pace in attack and Big Vic will break up play in midifield, if it weren't for Shaw he was my MOTM vs Villa. I'd be delighted to get a draw from this and come away without any injuries, we are on BT Sport after all - surely our bad luck on there has to stop at some point!
  12. There's a chance he could stay, but assuming he does go - and he's our only major departure, who will replace him? Targett will step up in pre-season but whether he's good enough to fill Shaw's boots remains to be seen. Ricardo Rodriguez of Wolfsburg is a good young talent, imagine that- 2 "Rodriguezes" down the left wing Like everyone I hope he does stay but its looking increasingly likely he'll go but at £100k a week who could blame him?!
  13. All well and good making these suggestions with Nike etc but we have to assume Adidas will be our provider next season, although most of their templates our pretty poor. Watching the City vs West Brom game made me think how simple it would be to change the black in that west brom shirt to white. It is the same template as our current kit only with stripes, only possible downside is the panel behind sponsor
  14. If Gaston fit: ---------Boruc---------- NC/CC--JF----DL----LS --JC/VW(?)--MS-------- SD--------GR--------AL ----------RL---------- If not: ---------Boruc---------- NC/CC--JF----DL----LS --JC/VW(?)--MS-------- SD--------RL--------AL ----------SG---------- Don't mind who plays out of Clyne or Chambers. Could give Wanyama a go in midifield, maybe just bring him on for half an hour - don't rush him back. Gaston would be a like for like with Rodriguez, but he is a lot better in the middle whereas Lallana is still brilliant in any of the 3 behind main striker. If he's not then why not play Rickie in behind Gallagher? Think he was brilliant when he kept dropping deep at City and he did it when Gallagher came on anyway. Another option is JWP as one of the 3 CAM's, not sure we'd be very effective in attack though. Whatever team plays, should still be a comfortable win
  15. Now here's a question - Which haircut has he played best with? Grade 2 all over? Hairband? Braids?
  16. Anyone can see how highly the club rate Sims, new deal and lots of focus on his England u17 trip. Already stepped up to the u21s as well. Great prospect for the future.
  17. Would've thought Everton would be a good game and winnable, but because it's on BT Sport we'll get thumped and a long term injury to at least one of our best players
  18. Anyone have any idea how bad Gaston's 'knock' is/was?
  19. Skate or not I'd love Begovic, but he'll go to a bigger club sadly. Better off looking abroad at somewhere like the Bundesliga if we want real competition for Boruc, which I'd prefer to just going for a 'backup'
  20. About the only good thing to come from the game: http://wall.saintsfc.co.uk/Event/Saints_Wall/112273368
  21. It annoys me that just because we have nothing to play for, the Silva offside is just being brushed aside by the media. Imagine if that was Lallana or someone and we went on to win the game, denting their title hopes, or if it was in the Liverpool/City game next week. The whole country would be going berserk calling for more technology! Seems to be bad decisions like this every other game, technology is there so why not use it
  22. Probably doesn't mean anything but didn't see Gaston in training pics, no mention of him in press conf/interview though so should be fine
  23. Made me laugh, shame they spelled Rickie wrong
  24. I live just around the corner from it and go past pretty much every day. they have built a new entrance round the back which goes in to where that old white dome was, think its going to be the new main entrance and car park but not sure, at the moment its just used by diggers etc
  25. As much as I'd love to have seen Yaya vs Victor this season, not worth risking a rusty VW (if he is fit) when JC has been brilliant and as Saint Garrett says - bossed him at St Mary's!
