I wouldn't call it pointless. It's a representation of how willing owners are to spend. Everyone knows Levy is tight with money. We're in another world with our owners. Spurs with 8 wins in their last 9 (loss to Arsenal). The other teams around us, bar Fulham, are picking up wins each week. Coming in to Xmas with all the rotation there'll be a bunch of upsets, we need to be part of that.

The decline started when we lost Van Dijk, Fonte, Wanyama in defence and Mane, Pelle in attack. Huge loss of quality that we never got back. Little to do with managers, everything to do with recruitment.
