The club changed strategy in 2016 with a new KPI of "Average contract length". That meant long new contracts to the entire playing group with pay rises attached. Our wage budget went up almost 30% in one year. Now we can't offload them and wish some of them were on short contracts. Our board have been awful since that strategy change with the contracts/signings.

Wenger also thought his best position was in midfield.

You have to knuckleball from there. Never gonna score from a regulation curling FK. -

Had a cheeky bet on Derby coming from 2 goals behind in two legs at £5000/1 -
Their wage bill is ~£40m while they'll earn £100m+ this season. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

The ones where you said city and spurs put out sides "full of their first team players" when they actually made 8 changes each. Every PL team rotates heavily in the 3rd round. Every team. 13 teams rotated more than Puel did. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Lets get the facts straight. This is the number of changes from their last premier league game to the FA cup game. Liverpool: 9 changes Manchester City: 8 changes Tottenham Hotspur: 8 changes Chelsea: 8 changes Arsenal: 8 changes Manchester United: 9 changes Leicester City: 7 changes Watford: 11 changes Wolverhampton Wanderers: 5 changes West Ham United: 6 changes Everton: 5 changes Bournemouth: 9 changes Brighton & Hove Albion: 8 changes Crystal Palace: 9 changes Newcastle United: 8 changes Burnley: 9 changes Cardiff City: 7 changes Southampton: 6 changes Fulham: 6 changes Huddersfield Town: 8 changes I fail to see the issue.

You're ignoring the fact that 14 other players in the squad want/need game time and will get ****ty if they get frozen out. The lineup he put out was totally reasonable for a cup game against a league 2 side. 5 of their title winning regulars + iheanacho(£25m) leading the line. They dominated the game but didn't take their chances. Show me a prem team that didn't rotate. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

At the end of the day it's results that matter and he's met or exceeded expectations in both his premier league jobs. He's a huge level above some of the dinosaurs that continue to get jobs in this league. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Lol at blaming Puel. He rotated as much as anyone does in the cup, nothing out of the ordinary. It's the players that bottled it. Leicester had 70% possession and 24 shots to Newports 9. They dominated but didn't take their chances.

I didn't realise Cedric was ambidextrous. Crosses with his left just as good as his right. He got lucky tonight as IMO he was playing Morata onside for that disallowed goal.
-
Has a bit of a donkey touch sometimes but potential is definitely there. Looks like he'll have 6 months to show his stuff.

Great point there. ManC and Chelsea done with. Those 6 pointers against the teams around us will now make or break our season just as Swansea did last year.
-
Two clinical finishes by a £40m attacker that's better than anything we've got. Penalty shouts aside, I think we overextended ourselves on that corner. We have a habit the last couple years of conceding goals from our own corners, it's something the coaches need to address.
-
To be fair the decision was probably made before the game giving Ings 60 minutes. His minutes need to be managed.
-
Over the past 2 years we've probably conceded more than we've scored from our own corners.
-
Too many players ball watching after that corner...
-
Anderson given way too much space. He's their in form player.
-
Clean sheet now please. Lets do it!

Late season the mid table teams will pack up shop while the relegation battlers go all out. I wouldn't feel safe on anything starting with a 2.

Keep Austin. Absolute no brainer. Gabbi constantly struggles to find the ball.
