Nice. Mane's been looking lively from the start and deserved that.
-
W E F U C K I N G L O S T this is so frustrating to watch, the front 4 just don't seem to function anymore.
-
Long deserves those, his work rate has been excellent for us whenever he's played, the goals have just been elusive.
-
That was excellent.
-
Mane needs to stay on his feet more.

Serbian fans are nutters, I went on a Rugby tour to Belgrade in U16s, where we stayed in an orphanage. One of the kids there who was about 12 or 13 at ****ing knuckle dusters for when he went to matches in Belgrade!

Ooops, yes I did **** posting from my phone
-
Is he legible to play for us against Chelsea this year? It could be a pretty big blow to the squad. Only asking because Gaston can't play against us for Hull.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11131376/Manchester-United-transfer-blow-as-Borussia-Dortmund-defender-Mats-Hummels-rules-out-Old-Trafford-move.html I saw this today and it made me sad, because our players were all money grabbing ****s, while over in Germany it looks like there's some loyalty left in football. Its not a direct comparison to us, but even so, ****

Nathaniel Clyne, what a player.
-
classic Poch, 60+% possession, 1-0 down
-
Yeah, I thought that too
-
Its saying he was overrated.
-
I'm not saying he was bad by any stretch, I'm just saying, maybe our midfield flattered him, and covered for other shortcomings in his game, which when given weaker teammates around him become more apparent.

I think after watching the away Spurs game last season, all three goals we conceded were Lovren errors, and definitely showed some warning signs. Schneiderlin and Big Vic were both out, and I think that exposed Lovren's weaknesses. In hindsight, maybe it does show that he wasn't actually as good as he was cracked up to be, and that while he was an improvement on Jos and Maya, he isn't actually the £20m cb that the scousers thought they were getting, and its our midfield that was responsible for our solid defence last season.
-
That was quick!

Source Apparently United are trying to shift Kagawa, if we do ditch Gaston, I'd happily take Kagawa for a reasonable price.
-
Complete bullsh*t, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but this is just excessive and is going to damage to squad far more than any good that the financial side will bring.
-
Mayuka looked decent, but his finishing was wasteful, but I think that applied to most of our chances IMO

Appalling show of commitment from our players
Olly replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
Its absolutely disgraceful. Total arrogance and disrespect for the club and the fans, and makes me sick to see the lack of commitment, loyalty and blatant greed at work. -
He's in the twilight of his career and its his boyhood club, he's achieved everything he ever could achieve with us in the years hes been with the club and I think he completely deserves this. I wish him all the best and hope he gets a chance to enjoy some Champions League football.

I don't really have much to add, but I wanted to say this somewhere. The premiership is going to end up as the least competitive league in the world, if every time a small club like us starts pushing the big 5, our homegrown players get bought out by direct competition, leaving them with almost nothing the next season. There's no incentive to finish anywhere but the top 5, or you're just going to get picked clean by the rich clubs, and hung out to dry the following season. The financial fair play rules don't do **** about it, and it is going to be the death of English football. **** I'M ANGRY
