At the beginning of the season I really worried where the goals would come from. Pelle has scored a fair few but it seems as though people are afraid to admit that he misses a lot of chances (Arsenal away in the league being a prime example) as well. Mane will be back soon but I'd really like to see another striker in before the end of the window- sadly I can't see it happening now.

I feel bad for Sadio but this really is good news for us. During the palace game I thought we really lacked the pace and attacking edge- particularly in the second half.

For me Barkley and Lallana should start. Our new and young team was nowhere to be seen against Italy. I think we'll draw this game but I can't see us getting out the group.

It#s one thing having a player who fails but having one who ruins the dressisng room spirit is different. I went to the Man City game and saw his great goal. But a few goals for £15 millions is pathetic. Definitely deserved.

Great result but it could have been more. It took us ages to score and in doing that we wasted at least 4 good chances. Otherwise, an excellent result.

The premiership isn't like the championship or league one. You have 5 teams that always will be bigger than us along with spurs, everton and newcastle. United will rise again. Yes, we are in a mini league but we've only just been promoted into it if you like. Some fans fell so easily for all of Cortese's 'propaganda' and now still believe we should be in the cl. We need to get more depth before we go for that.

Our short term has to be to hold on to players. The long term goal is Europe. Let's be honest, to get top 4 you have to replace a big team who is falling- Liverpool are like that this season, replacing United. I think 5th is our maximum possible finish but that's being positive. Next season, we need to focus on the cup to attract players.
