Still hoping for a buyer keeping quiet behind the scenes. Everything about the DaGrosa deal screams keep well clear!

That was a proper game of football and we thoroughly deserved the point. Got to be honest and say Oriel should have seen red, no need to carry through like he did, although I still don't think it was malicious. Apart from the two goals where they ripped us apart, great to watch as a neutral, I thought we bossed the game with our possession. We had no qualms about passing back and starting again rather than giving the ball away needlessly. Redmond looked dangerous, Armstrong a constant threat although Ingsy looked a bit quiet. Still thought Che did a decent job shielding ball, reminded me of a young Mark Hughes, but I am not convinced he is a 10-15 goal striker yet. Obafemi hasn't convinced me that he deserves a start, but with his eye for a goal, he is a real asset off bench. Really quite excited about the balance and poise we have now. As mentioned in interviews, I think Ralph is a big taskmaster, our players def needed that kick up back side. Worked in every dept, really quite excited about next season.

Adams all day long. As long as Leeds don't come calling, I see him as a proper Saints front man for next few years

Two pointers I took from game, Valery should never wear a Saints shirt again and sign KWP on a permanent deal. Looked tidy when he came on last night and did more in 30 secs than Valery did in 2 games!

January Transfer Window - 2020 Edition

Must admit, I still think there is a decent striker in there somewhere. Prob in the minority, but I reckon he will come good under Ralphs Tutelage. Shields ball well, has an eye for a pass, just needs the killer instinct. -
Loan with an option, we seriously can't lose! Also, trust Ralph to harness the talent he has obviously seen.

I imagine this sort of stuff goes on at most clubs. Re Ralph, there isn't much loyalty at any club barring the big 6 on paper, but I would be happy if he at least saw his contract out. If not, board have to the make the right decision, Ralph's style of football has been a breath of fresh air, whoever comes in has to have the same ethos. Finally despite the crap, we are a team worth watching -
Totally agree, you can get swamped by the negativity

I agree with wanting more, unfortunately we have always been the feeder club. I would say at the time, I enjoyed watching Bale, Shaw et al for the time we had them and resigned myself to the fact that they would move on, Bale especially. The mistake we made wasn't spending the money we made wisely -

More like a shift back to the days where our academy/scouting actually worked! Positive step for me -

Still have fond memories of Villa Park, saw Saints during the three years I was at the Polytechnic as was! One win, one draw, one loss. One year, they had a obstacle course for Alsations, 1989 I think, the Villa dog was a lively 2 year old, the Saints dog was 33 and couldn't get up the wall. It was quite surreal, bit like watching Saints at mo lol

when our one ITK is cynical, you know things are bad at the club! Not seeing much love for Ralph there! but as mooted when JWP and PEH appear undroppable and they have been our worst performers, we really are in the mire. -
Have to agree with all of that

Decent article about saints and our troubles

Can't see it taking much to knock him over edge to be fair! -

With all of that, it makes you wonder why Ralph actually wants to stay -
Lemina out for £18m, two further out on loan Ins:
-
So would I, £8m and his wages off books, move on
-
To be fair, what have the starting eleven achieved in the last few games? Even if one of them grabbed his chance, it would be worth a go

Calling K-Billy to the meltdown room! Until he calls it, I am going with the blind hope that we will at least get Maehle in!!
-
Yep that's far too optimistic, you should be in full#meltdown mode by now

Think that was one post too far!!

Still think we will bring in 1 this month. RH has players coming back and loanees returned as well, honestly believe he thinks he can keep us up with this group. Summer much better time for overhaul
