  1. Exactly, we will not get a player as good as Rickie as that person would not be prepared to sit on the bench each week rather than start.
  2. We are lacking pace up front. Blindly obvious in the last few games. Therefore for me, A Rickie type up front as cover and a pacey winger ( like Adomah was against us at Bristol). That will get us in the Premiership and in the summer we shall need a rethink.
  3. If QPR do not want him and nobody else does, then Saints are forced to take him back under the terms of his contract. Whether he plays or not is a different matter. We do not really know how he upset Management, but he has never stayed at any club long, so there must be a reason. I do not know when his current contract expires but we must be careful in integrating him into the squad again. In saying that, everyone is entitled to a second chance. but if he has already been given that, I am sure his agent can find him a placement, unless he wishes to do a "Wayne Bridge"
  4. CSI are the owners of PFC (2010) Ltd as their shareholding is indicated on the Companies Register. Whilst Chainrai may have lent them the money to puchase the club, he took a debenture over the club's assets. As you say, he will not hand over these assets without getting his money back . He can, of course, sell the assets as a secured creditor if cash from the administrator is not forthcoming.
  5. He is going to send the cheque off 2nd class post in a couple of days time as he does not like to rush.
  6. You can motivate confidence in. It takes a little time but that is what it is all about. Bart will need time as not only will he feel he cost us 2 points, he will know he has cost us that record. There have been some poor comments about him today and that will not do him any good either. He needs our support more than ever.
  7. Nothing to choose between Fox & Harding but for me, Fox leaves too much space between himself and the opposing wingman.
  8. Bart was a good keeper when he came to us and played first team until that injury at Newcastle in the FA Cup. He has made a few mistakes since and today he was full of nerves right from the off. It is up to the club now to build up his confidence and hopefully we shall have a good keeper again. Please do not write the lad off after this one game. He will know more than most that he was not up to scratch today and he will have a miserable weekend.
  9. In an aeroplane perhaps. You can just about get to the Corfe Mullen Roundabout in an hour from ST. Mary's and that is when there is no hold up around Ocean Quay.
  10. Do Weymouth Saints still run a coach?
  11. If we were turning people away when we were in the Premiership, they would have bought season tickets. They didn't, which goes to show our capacity is sufficient.
  12. Cameron has performed more U turns than any previous PM in history.
  13. The Portuguese owner of Iberico Restaurant in Vale do Lobo,Algarve is a Saints supporter and there is a signed shirt hung up behind the bar.
  14. NA said only last week that there will be ups and downs and we must not get too down about this loss. We cannot win every game, just as we couldn't beat Rochdale last season. A good win against Blackpool next week will have the moaners crowing from the rooftops. We have good players and a good Manager & staff, so let us move on.
  15. Maybe he has undertaken some "protective lending" ie. stepped into Antonov's shoes and lent PFC (2010)Ltd a little more, in order to get his hands on more security, as he may have thought his loan to PFC (2010)Ltd was at risk. As somebody else said a couple of pages back, the new debenture could be classed as a preferential act, thus a risky policy to pursue. There will be a lot more to come out in all this I am sure.
  16. Great News. Jos & Jose will be like Claus & Michael were for us.Leaping Salmon.
  17. Agree with S-Clarke, he would be a great person to have around the place in some coaching capacity for the youngsters.
  18. I know the Screens are on the agenda for replacement but do not know the level of priority.
  19. Let us give him a chance for goodness sake. He has only just returned from a long layoff and will take time to get fully fit and match sharpness. He had some great games for us last season when on song, so let us wait and see what he can do in this league when up to speed.
  20. How True.
  21. This situation is not the same as PFC (2010)Ltd is owned by CSI Ltd (The shareholders) Chainrai has a debenture over PFC (2010) Ltd's assets for money he was owed when he sold the club to CSI. Antonov was a director of PFC until today. A director is a separate legal entity from the Company (Soloman V Soloman 1896). Directors though, can be liable for unlawful trading (whilst their Compamn is insolvent) under the Incolvency Act.
  22. Need somebody in Rickie mould IMO, Maynard is not terribly big.
  23. Always looked the part but never quite made it. I remember him being terrified of that big coloured centre half when we played Barnsley at SMS. His name escapes me but he played for WBA for some while.
  24. I seem to recall from this site that the HMRC appeal against the football creditors rule ,was being held at the High Court on 23rd November. Where is Saint_John when we need him? He is normally is up to date on these matters.
  25. Never seen this type of warm up before either Home or Away. Perhaps the Physio has been on a course.
