I enjoyed watching him play for us and his presence came at the right time. Good luck Dan Harding, I hope you can help Forest as you did with us.

My goodness, what an excllent performance from this young man at SMS yesterday. This was on top of a lot of praise from NA after the Evian game too. Look forward to seeing a lot more of him if he keeps this up.

Not worried at all about the players we have been linked with as most are simply paper talk. The players we have signed so far are v. good signings. Leave the rest to NA--he knows what he is doing " in private, behind closed doors"

The clip on Saints Player is really impressive. Just up NA street I feel. Cannot imagine Burley or HR getting involved with this.

Jack Cork on at half-time for team GB against Brazil.

Jack played well last night after a disappointing first half by GB. Agree with points above regarding keeping the ball, which a lot of his team mates could not do in the first half. It was a slow boring game though from GB perspective. -
Will the Premier League be surprised by us at all?

I think we will do well in the Premier League. All of our signings have been very good, unlike the old days. Furthermore you cannot help be impressed by the piece with Mo Gimpel on Saints Player on the sports science. The amount of detail that goes into a player now to get him up to speed, is amazing. -
He will be commanding in the box with that height and with his superb kicking, it will be like having another outfield player. A good signing and another young player who can develop further. NA must give him more games than Bart had though so his confidence will be kept up.

[quote=The9 This does basically come down to the thing I constantly bang on about in the Prem, which is that you can teach techniques to improve skills and positioning and tactical awareness, and work on strength all you like, but you just can't teach players to be significantly faster. That is not quite correct. You can teach players to be faster over the first 20 yds or so thus being quicker off the mark. There are a number of excercises which will help. This will benefit skilfull players a great deal. I acknowledge that wingers need to have more pace over longer distances and you cannot teach that. We are crying out for a top class pacey winger imo.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

I like the look of Gazzaniga on the video. As well as his kicking, commands his box which is an advatange because of his height at 6ft 5". Gils fans seem to think he has potential for such a young keeper too. -
Nothing wrong with this extension.

Birch said a few weeks back that PFC only had enough money to last out until the end of May. How then, is the club paying the day to day running expenses?
-
Claus and the rest of the knobs are long gone. They were yesterdays men and it is pathetic that he has to bring this up now just for cash from a local rag. I felt sorry for him due to his problems after he retired, but not so much now.He has let himself and the club down especially as they asked him to represent them at Garry Speed's Tribute.
-
Surely Slimey George has not got things wrong again. Yet another U turn perhaps?
-
He is very tall.Should be able to command his box then.
-
We shall be ever grateful to Markus & Nicola. I remember taking my grandsons to Dean Court to see the friendly against Bournemouth just after Markus takeover was announced. There were some Swiss Flags about.
-
Absolutely.

Katalinic will know as he was ITK about the shirts in the first place.
-
It must have done ,as he can get the new shorts on in the pics on the OS.
-
All credit to the nurses and parents who turned up at SMS that day and got us to sign the petition.Quite an initiative to realise that there would be many people all in one place.
-
I suppose we will soon see Craig David in his new Saints Shirt on TV too.
-
David Gold started with nothing, running errands for Market Traders whilst his mother was a single parent cleaning a cafe. He has always appreciated her support for him and said when she was 30 she looked 60. When he got on in life he was able to give back more to her and as a result, he said when she was 60 she looked 30. One has to admire the man.
-
Congratulations to Jack Cork. A quality player who always tries to play football as it should be played.
-
The one on the left immediately above, I guess, is the one, so it has already been unveiled on this site The9. I am sure your ITK contact has got it right.

Can never undertand when those Sky fellah's talk about the future England Team, Lallana is never mentioned. Just wait until we see him, Rickie, Cork and Rodriguez in the Prem. Pity the former cannot think outside the square.

And an adjustment needed to the collar perhaps!
