WE already play good football and NA is a good motivator but I am not aware of Rednapp's pedigree. What is it please, apart from bankrupting clubs, taking them down and off shore deals with Mandy? -

No Redknapp. Not good enough end of. -
I watched it on MOTD and Yoshida passed the ball back to Gazza and then moved out for the return pass. He may have shouted for it back as he thought he had plenty of space, but failed to control the ball and Dyer nipped in. I think young Gaaza would have probably followed the shout bowing to an older player and he too did not not give an easy ball to Yoshida. On balance therefore it would be Gazzas fault but he will learn from this. I can remember Peter Crouch fannying about with a ball in the Chapel End penalty area instead of burying it in the top tier. he lost it and the opposing team scored. He learned from that too.

Cork was my MOM. It was a shame he decided to pass the ball back to Gazza when we were well on top.Whilst it was not a good pass from him to Yoshida, on another day the latter would have got it under control. Gazza at fault though, as at that stage of the game, he should have put his foot through the ball. Still cannot understand with the pace we had today, we still do not get down to the bi-line and cross enough. Much better performance over all though.

'Arry loved the fans at FP. As he is out of a job, I am sure he will find the wherewithall to ride in there with bags of cash, to take over as manager and get the Skates out of a jam. After all, he is good at motivating payers--everyone says so.

I met him once in Vale do Lobo, Portugal. We went to the Barrington Country Club for a drink. His daughter had an art exhibition there and when he opened the door to welcome us he said " the drinks are on the house tonight and I am the house!" He was a pleasant man and made the point of going around to chat to all the people there. He told us he had a Restaurtant at Quartera and gave us his card.

Never a Premiership player in a thousand years I am afraid.
-
Agree, great support throughout the game. Came across loud on TV.

We have played some good football at times but the defensive mistakes have disappointed me. I thought we needed a left back, Centre Back and goalkeeper at least. NA cannot make up our mind about the goalkeeper and the jury is out for Yoshida. We strove to find a left back but this fell out and there has been some strange tactics sometimes from NA. I thought we would be higher up the league by now, not resting on the bottom. We must not have a change of Manager but at least a good Left Back and Centre Half in January.

I think that may have been true earlier in the season but you obviously did not see the Spurs game whene Al played more in the LB role than Danny Fox.
-
Good point, some more delights to come methinks.

Nobody in their right mind would not want us to stay in the Premiership surely?. All those that were on the pitch at the last home game of the season last season will agree. A couple of wins and we shall all be happy again. Maybe the fairplay system regarding turnover and wages will help but I agree with most on here ,that the Premiership has been ruined with big money, Sky TV has a lot an an answer for over this.

Perhaps those who bought their tickets by credit card can make a claim back from the cc company as the product purchased did not deliver as it should have ie faulty.

I thought on paper before the game that this team could give Leeds a run as it had bags of pace. With no shots on goal the older players can now look at themselves, not only for the missed oportunity to impress, but realise that some are not good enough and will never be selected for the 1st Team apart from the odd apperance this season. I do not want to see a managerial change at this stage ,but the tactics must be severely questioned and Adam Blackmore should have asked the question in the post match interview.

I saw the Steward with the biggest afro in the world as I left the Chapel on Sunday. FWIW He looked very young and I would guess he was a teenager.

We do not wish to play many of our "best "players. Get more injuries and we are really in the do do's
-
Probably because they wanted one for nothing whilst the likes of you and I have to pay.

Does Lallana need dropping to give him a kick up the backside?
rooney replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
He worked his socks off yesterday and was more in our left-back position than Danny Fox was. He cannot be crticised by those on here who claim he has not been helping DF out any more. -
How I wish we could have the pace seen from Dempsey, Lennon, Bale and Defoe yesterday. It was frightening.
-
A top notch performance from Gareth Bale. So fast, strong and skillful
-
He is a good young player and will improve as he learns but has made mistakes (hands on head yesterday when ball watching for Bales goal) Agree with others that he does slip a lot. Why then, do we water the pitch so much especially on damp days?
-
Spurs were so fast coming at us in the first half we looked bewildered with their pace. J-Rod looked good and Lallana worked his socks off covering for Fox who left so much space on his man and could not get back. Just watch him jogging back on MOTD for the Spurs 2nd goal. We were so poor first half but so good seconed half especially when Mayuka came on. It seems NA is right--we need a little more confidence. Also Boruc to be more fan friendly. He was hesitant in coming out for Spurs second goal. Agree with most on here that we need Gazza back.

John Hollowbread used to show his injuries to the crowd behind the goal at the Dell.

I just cannot believe NC would swap Nigel for Rednapp. That would be madness.
