I complained about the PA System in the Chapel when Rupes was chairman and he acknowledged this but advised the club had other priorities. I complained again about three years ago and had a reply similar to that above. I even suggested moving the speakers at roof level about 20 foot under the stands in the Chapel as an experiment so that the sound would be "trapped" more. This went unheaded too. It is amazing that the club claim inexperience ion these matters when we have a major sponsor who specialise in sound! Let us wait and see but it is about time this was sorted.

Ron's villa is very near LVGal's at Vale do Lobo. Funnily enough ,Townsend went to the resort to do extra training in pre-season last year.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-1 Crystal Palace
rooney replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Unbelievable season and well done to all at SMS for givining us so much pleasure. Had a spell watching Plymouth when I lived there when Dave Smith was manager and that was exciting too. Got indoors just as Argyle scored the winner to beat the Skates. What a superb day. -
He cheated on another wife when at Man U in the early days. I seem to recall that he went off with one of the trainers wife. The bloke is no good.

The performance of Mane,Duscan and Shane took my breath away yesterday. Citeh just could not cope with their pace and trickery. Congratulations to all the team who chased every ball to make sure we won. They were all so motivated. Superb Saints.

No, but it would include the disinterest they showed me at Almancil Police Station when I reported my cards/cash stolen from my Villa in vale do Lobo. Turning away from me whilst taking a statement to watch football on a TV screen and making me come back to the Police Station the next day to complete it. They never bothered to interview the cleaner who I suspected, but then I suppose this is the same in the Uk these days.

Anybody who has had experience of dealing with the Portuguese Police will know what a load of cr*p they are.

Kelvin is one of the leaders we need around the club in some capacity as with Benali and Le Tis.

Saints announce partnership with Under Armour
rooney replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The shirt sponsors will be an important choice too.Probably somebody with the same vision and mission as Saints amd Under Armour. A global brand linked to fitness in some way perhaps. Anyway, good on Ralph in bringing them in. -
Was he the short black player that all our Dutch Players made a point of speaking to last Saturday on Last Match Uncovered? Even Ronald Koeman waited for him outside the dressing room to speak.

For all the wrong hand ball/foul calls, we did not test Leicester's goalkeeper at all and that was the problem yesterday. If it were not for Fraser, we would have lost by a lot more.

Always liked the news one about the magistrates at Pagham? dismissed a case against a man for gross indecency because he had only been indecent 143 times.

Smashing time with all the cars with scarves and banners on M3 on the way up. Went with my son, son-in-law and three grandchildren and still cannot get rid of the photos on my phone. Pure magic.

A great player for us.

Not very often a keeper wins this so congratulations to Fraser. -
BREAKING: Premier League clubs announce £30 cap on away tickets
rooney replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
As the £30 is a maximum, the club may provide subsidised travel on occasions, as we know the amount of cash they are to receive from the TV deal next season. -
The club will never give a manger a 5 year contract as if he fails and they sack him, a considerable amount of compensation may have to be paid. Three years is the norm at best imo.

Perhaps one day, just perhaps, the refs will come out after the game so that the interviewers can ask why they made a certain decision.

We cannot even imagine the debt we owe to brave young men like him in WW2, who took to the skys to save us.

Does'nt 'Arry live in Panorama Road as that is in Sandbanks?

A great piece of Art Work. Good to see it again, lest we forget the people that the Skates were associated with.
