However, the glory days are beginning to come to and end. DT reported in the week that subscriptions to Sky are down 13% over the last 12 months and 25% since 2010. They put this down to the Live Streaming on PC's and he Cody Boxes which are available now.
The FA and the Premier League do not pass down enough imho whilst many of us donate regularly to many different charities from taxed income nothing like a present day footballer earns.
As to my User name, think Del Boy and the bracelet present and you will probably guess the reason.
Soft spot for my Home Town Club and played on the old Stadium ground many times. I used to catch tadpoles as a kid at the Tatnam Ground so the club must have spent a great deal already, even to get it up to current standard. Perhaps the Cherries could help them out just as we helped them a few years ago.
Jose has been great for us and I will be sorry to see him go but obviously he wants out and we must let him get on with his life wherever this takes him. It was doubtful, because of his age, if he would have his contract renewed in any case.
Sadly we are going backwards. Earlier in the season we were creating the most chances by any team but lack of quality was causing the lack of goals. We hardly create any chances now and still the lack of quality prevents conversion when we do. We need a complete re-think on how we set up our play and buy some quality in the transfer window if we are not to slip down the table.
Shane Longs face was a picture a she congratulated Jay Rod when he came on for him. Teamwork at its best so now for a couple of goals for Shans and he will be back in the groove again.
Clasie's best game for us, JWP not so good. Some good crosses from Martina, McQueen very good and JRod worked so hard. He was so unlucky not to score and a goal for him and Shane will do them the world of good. Boufal's goal was sublime.
