  1. I remember here was trouble at Ashton Gate ,when we played them in an evening game the season before last.
  2. Pardew appears to be ok.Better than Curbishley who shuts his eyes when he speaks. In body language speak this means he does not always believe what he is saying.
  3. We will never be able to understand WGS again.
  4. Never went the extra mile, looked the part but never delivered, too scared of big CB eg Darren Moore. Will miss the pace but that is all I am afraid.
  5. The team is much too lightweight for L1, Rasiak disinterested and terrible first touch, Lallana lightweight as was Boyle, Reeves made Gillett look tall, although quite skilful, Saville & Mills ok at LB. We looked so small against that Bournemouth Team. When Lancashire comes across to tackle a winger, instead of taking him and the ball out as would Claus, Killer & Seijs, he would stand off and thus give the winger chance to tackle and beat him or pass to another with then Lancashire out of position. I do not know what has happened to Bart. Interesting to see Pulis in the kick around although he did not play. Very dissappointed after going with a lot of expectation. Best part: seeing the swiss flags!

    Impressed

    I would seconed that.
  7. This leaves a bad taste. Thank you for all the effort and loyalty over the past few months.
  8. We must all support our new owner as he has supported us.
  9. At his age, I doubt if he can improve that powder- puff shot of his. You need more than that to score goals from midfield in this or any other league.
  10. Absolutely
  11. How did the 2 goalkeepers perform? Did they command their areas and come out to catch high crosses?
  12. The Company will also wish to put more Cranes into the Docks. Who better to buy them from and get planning permission for, than the Company who saved the Saints. The Council place tremendous value on the Football Club putting the City on the advertising map.
  13. Those of us who are shareholders, will probably receive a Statement of Affairs after the assets of SLH have been sold and SLH is liquidated. We shall then see the costs of the Administration. Should the Company be liquidated if BT cannot find a buyer, the same will apply.

    Surman

One of our better players but not enough pace for premiership and tires quickly in seconed half. Good luck in the future though.
  15. The ST Business section reports today that one of Jason Euell's property Companies is in liquidation and various Mortgagees are calling in their loans against certain properties.
  16. If the Pinnicle client is buying the assets from Southampton Leisure Holdings Ltd of course they will form a new company, and SLH Ltd will subsequently be liquidated as it will have no trading income and net liabilities.
  17. I think this was the summer before on a very sunny evening game. Last years pre season was cancelled due to the fact that we were drawn away to them in the Carling Cup which would have been a week or so after. Nonetheless, I must agree with your sentiments.
  18. He is the sort of loyal player everybody wants in a team.
  19. Theygave us a tight game in the Carling Cup at St James's Park at the beginning of the season.Played some nice football too. Cannot say I am looking forward to standing in that uncovered end again and as for the toilets.........
  20. The Key to who will be manager, will simply be down to who will own us and how much there will be to invest in players. Simple.
  21. His picture is always in the "Compass" at some charity do in Bournemouth
  22. Looking at the League Rules quote dabove, they distinctly refer to "the Club." The Club is a separate legal entity from Leisure Holdings and it is this wording that will be argued by the QC's I am sure. We can only hope.
  23. Perhaps they will all surprise us and hand a bucket collection from their wages, to the Administrator on the pitch on Saturday.
  24. Any purchaser will not get the same ROE if we are in the 3rd Tier of English Football as against the 2nd. It follows therefore, that they will not pay the same price for the assets as they would previously.
