Agreed he looks a level above us I’m afraid no way he comes to Saints
-
I hope we keep it simple. play your best fit players and use a system that works. I’d go with Bazanu, KWP, ABK DCC Salisu, Perraud, JWP Stuart A Aribo and Che up front. 352 or 532 either way. that leaves one strikers role for Edozie or Morgan. We need something different up front.

We need goals. I’d play Adams upfront with Stuart Armstrong and Edozie either side of firm.

Some people still think that to be a good manager you have to have been a great player! That’s why Lampard and Gerard are doin* so well in management. Klopp didn’t have much of a career as a player. There really are some whoppers that follow football. Truth is none of us know how this will play out. I wasn’t happy when we sacked Nigel for Poch. I was wrong. I was excited about Koeman. Undecided about Puel or Ralph. Had an instant bad feeling about Hughes and Pellegrino. I could go further back to the horror of Wigley and Grey. All I know is I’ll support the new manager and the team as always and I’d put my reaction to Jones as similar to Ralph and Puel. Read some good things and can see how it might work.

On the other, other hand Beckham played in a far better team who would have played far more football in the danger zone for free kicks. Any way the statistics are used JWP free kick record so far is amazing. Enjoy it he plays for us.

Liverpool and Spurs for me. So many reasons for. I really don’t like villa. Play poor football and fans are totally deluded.
-
Ralph in! Well at least until the Spurs game
-
I have to say I find it odd that Ralph hasn’t spoken to Stuart Armstrong for that period of time. I am more worried about Stuart’s mental health then his calf reading between the lines

I can’t even get link on Amazon prime

What’s score with Amazon prime the game isn’t showing

It’s a quote from lock stock iirc

There is a great podcast on the history of Poland on the BBC In our Time series. Fascinating about how big it was, first state to have an elected King in medieval Europe
-
I’m fully expect and hope that Ings get a torrid time on his return. If we are winning I’d even put Lyanco on for last 5 minutes to kick lumps out of him.
-
If Ralph plays Stu Armstrong from the start and his injury flares up people on here would have a meltdown. we are finally managing players a bit better
-
Has this got anything to do with Saints?
-
All Salisu had to do was block ASM in their half and take the yellow. Jason Dodd took a red like that against West Ham years ago. Perhaps Lyanco can show him the dark side of defending.
-
I’m probably in a minority but I am looking forward to this season. We have a really young side and manager and they are only going to get better. We will replace Ings and I think we will be mid table but progressing. I’m happy with that. Try and enjoy it people.

I’m happy with this signing. Seems like a good player and can play with side so just what we need. Also love the fact that whoppers on here saying Brighton had it all sorted compared to Saints etc etc mostly as they had signed Tino
-
This was 100% the issue. As soon has we lost KWP and Oriol for example it really went wrong
-
My instinct is Ings is staying. It doesn’t appear any real bids from big clubs have come in. They have the money to buy him now so no need to wait. Also interesting that Ralph seems to have updated his priorities for signings. All points to Ings staying.

I know Stephens has faults but I think he does make a difference in the sense that is very vocal. He has a go at the officials, team mates and the opposition. He does bring a bit of a tougher streak to the team

I don’t think that’s Judo. Looks like Jui Jitsu

Can’t be bothered
