Will Roko and the board go for broke in January!!!
Bermuda Saint replied to Bermuda Saint's topic in The Saints
That is new to me! January has traditionally been a sellers market, teams needing to avoid relegation or push for CL spots will pay over the odds to change the fortunes of their team, some teams buying out of desperation some hoping for inspiration. Oh, I forgot, we are too good for the likes of Klose, André-Pierre Gignac, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Luiz Adriano, Shaqiri or Marco Reus !, and they are not wanted according to redsolo (he has analyzed the numbers and stripped footy down to a formula that has no room for throwing caution to the wind). We don't need them to finish 8th!! sorry, I was getting un-saints like and actually believing that my team is good enough to challenge the CL spots with a little bit of proven quality to assist our great team. -

OK, I get it saints fans, years of disappointment has left you incapable of dreaming for the stars. If we are in CL places during the Jan transfer window why not try for that impact player. Dream big....ings? bigger......charlie austin (he is big physically).......bigger......Diego milito......bigger......Miroslav Klose, ahhh, now your talking. A proven goal scorer, who still looks like he has got it in the tank to be a big impact player. A partner to Pelle, or supersub, someone to complement the team, not upset it, an experienced head used to the pressure of big games, an impact player. You see where I am going with this, this is where I hope the board will go!. No one is suggesting get some ego maniac that thinks it is all about him and will disrupt team harmony, c'mon guys, that is what we do! we look extensively into players mental and physical abilities (I think Osvaldo was MOPO idea, and not the norm). Players like Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Morata, Mora, or maybe even the great Pirlo. If they will fit into ROKO plans, they will bring instant class to a team looking to beat the big boys. If we are serious that we can achieve something special this year, because what we have expertly put together is gelling together so quickly and seamlessly. Then our hard fought for top 4 position is worth keeping with a little push (think BIG!). We will not forget our academy players, and the more competitions we get in the more chance they will have. They will see less time as the games get more valuable if we continue to battle for CL spots, we just can’t afford the luxury of inexperienced academy players learning their game when the stakes are so high, unfortunately our meteoric rise up the table has increased the pressure to perform at the highest level. If we were mid table I think our slow and steady approach to building a team is prudent. BUT, because we have shot out of the gate, we are a team that can keep excelling if one or two key players of proven quality come in to make the difference. Don’t give up on the prize while it’s still in reach!! There are many great players that will relish the chance to play in the prem. We have the money, we have the standings (for now), we have the vision, we have the plan. The loan system is working very well for us too, (for those that are bedwetting in fear that we will blow all our money on one player and inflict financial ruin, NOT.), Bertrand and Toby are as good as signed; they would be fools if they didn't join our revolution. The loan system could be a great way to get a top notch striker or creative midfielder that cannot get into a RM, MC, PSG, BAR etc. for a reasonable amount, and we can see how this season plays out. Think outta the box Saints fans, think of the player who you would never associate with the old SFC, this is the new era, dream BIG, I bet ROKO does!! I like the idea of Klose, André-Pierre Gignac, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for strikers, or Shaqiri, Marco Reus(yes please!, ok that is dreaming a bit too much), Kevin Strootman, Matuidi, Toivonen are great mids, and I think there must be a few you can think of too. THINK BIG, but practical (will Edinson Cavani or benzema come to SFC, no). I think the attraction of Koeman and the way he has us playing is enough to turn a few heads………think BIG!. I think Jordy Clasie is ours if we want him. He and ROKO are very close, I think we would have got him last summer but the strength of our midfield and the priority of keeping Spydy was forefront. He got injured right at the end of the transfer window (luck or design?) so he stayed with Feynord to mature a little more (he may be the key to Corkys contract hold up, Corky is proving once again to a new manager that he is a very good player and one who fits well into our system.) But I don't pretend to know what they do (top managers making millions on their expertise), ROKO has shown me there is better than Lalla, Ricky, lovren out there, we just have to trust their experience. Rumours: Southampton (ok, I put this in, but we should look at this guy before Newcastle becomes a French speaking stadium.)Newcastle and Arsenal are interested in signing Andre-Pierre Gignac from Marseille. (Mirror) Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Newcastle have been put on alert after Marseille admitted they might not be able to afford to keep the hotshot striker Andre-Pierre Gignac. The France forward has 10 goals in 11 games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side and is Ligue 1’s top scorer, but his contract expires at the end of the season, at 28 could be tempted by one last opportunity to move abroad. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has held talks over a new deal at Schalke, amid reported interest from the Premier League. The Dutch striker is available on a free transfer in the summer and the Bundesliga club were said to be willing to cash in on January. Huntelaar has enjoyed an impressive season to date, scoring seven times in 11 appearances These are not as ambitious as my targets, and they could be just Media trash. Everton and Southampton are hoping to sign Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah on loan in January Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is plotting a January swoop for Palermo striker Paulo Dybala. Dybala (20)- who the Italians compared to Manchester City's Sergio Aguero is one for the future.(Mirror) Southampton are planning a £10m bid for Tottenham's England Under-21 forward Harry Kane. (Sun) Dirk Kuyt, currently at Turkish side Fenerbahce, is a target for Southampton in the January transfer window. (Star) I have been a very optimistic poster, always looking for the good things we have done and can do as a club, I tried to give people hope not hopelessness. look at my post about the exodus through the summer. Some have come around and can see we are rewriting history, we do not need to live in the days of just staying up was all we could hope for.......join me in dreaming of the big leagues, We have not been wrong so far! Even the other managers and players can see we are the real deal. (I think Bruce is trying to set himself up with a job with us in the future, he is always so complimentary about the Saints, I rate him as a manager and appreciate his opinion.) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/11203973/Ronald-Koemans-Saints-go-marching-on-as-Wanyama-wondergoal-seals-victory-at-Hull.html I know financially we cannot compete with the big boys, we will have to build the majority of our team just the way we have been doing, great academy players, and picking good players from foreign countries that we have extensively scouted and deem fit to join our system at a reasonable price. FFP restrict us from trying to buy our way to the top 4 (once again, read Redsolo analysis), we are just too small of a club globally……but there is room for the exception, we are a good team, with a good bench, why buy a player with potential or youth or as good as what we have now. Those are best left for the summer, not at overinflated January transfer window. Why not get an impact player, a one off, a proven star in the twilight of his career ready for an exciting challenge, or a loan for a great player from one of the big clubs that need playing time because they have stacked themselves full of million dollar stars. If it fails we haven’t thrown the bath out with the bath water, we can go back to building slow and steady. -

Bermuda Saint replied to Bermuda Saint's topic in The Saints
OK, once again you focus on the small details, your right i don't know how much SFC have left after the summer transfer fees. I don't care if they spent it all already, but anyone with ambition to be the best will see this as a golden opportunity to take a stab at something that was previously unthinkable. If I were KL, and ROKO thought this could be the push we needed to sustain a top 4 finish, with her money and desire to honour her father love for SFC, I would actually think this would be an investment of folly that may pan out to be worth the risk of losing a small fortune (tiny, teensy loss to her billions). If it fails we continue with our long term plans for our future development. I completely disagree with the "we will add a few more quality players to strengthen" point of view at the Jan transfer window. The long term scouting of potential players, Reed knows it is best to buy in the summer transfer window. We have been very good at recognizing players that are 2nd tier in price but have the potential to be great players, usually young and talented and need a little more time to be molded into the gem that we hope they will be. I don't want this this year!!! we have good, potentially great players on the beach and in the academy now! We need (If SFC think we can get the right player, that will take us to the next level) a proven WC player to come in and be ready to score against any defense, no learning his trade, the finished product, a proven player, one to convince SFC and KL that the millions of pound invested will be a good investment. Is there one out there, I don't know, but I do know our owner/board and Manager have made some bold decision, I am hoping this will be one. -
Will Roko and the board go for broke in January!!!
Bermuda Saint replied to Bermuda Saint's topic in The Saints
damn, always get one or two who missed the point, Knew I should have clarified the "go for broke", of course we are not going to put the club in financial instability. I thought the post was clear enough we will spend the excess money from summer sales. We started with approximately 100mill and have 30 mill left, if we spend that we are back to "0", broke!, in that sense. Of course not in Owners worth, clubs finances and assets etc. I see you had no suggestions for a WC player, just criticism..... -
Hmmm, an intersting post earlier with a hint, a suggestion, a tease, a titillating tattle that we may fork out big money for a world class player in January.....rubbish, January transfer rumour trash again! but maybe not.....I am delighted how we have come through our transformation from Mopo to Roko, and was always optimistic we were doing the right things with hard decisions. But even this start to the season has been a revelation. The cautious and pessimistic do make good points about team unity and not wanting to upset the balance of the team. We do have good young academy players in the wings, we have quality new players settling in and injured players coming back. We look like we could strengthen with the normal passage of time. Each week increases our ambitions of reaching as high as we can go (BPL winners). I have noticed a subtle change to ROKO post match interviews, he has gone from we are almost a new team that will do its best, to cautious optimism that we can survive this league, to confident we can challenge for the top six...........I believe this man is a winner, someone who will see the top 4 as a challenge that he can overcome. He is now feeling confident in his team he has at his disposal that we can challenge the top 6, so why stop there, why wait a year letting the team grow into what ROKO and the BOARD have envisioned. We are here!!! we can take the bull by the horns. Will our Manager and Board make a huge bet with the 30 mill surplus we had from summer sales and buy someone who might keep us in the top 4?. The rewards are unbelievable to SFC, the money of CL, the notoriety of the world stage, the new fans that will put on our beloved shirt (we are the darlings of the neutrals, a CL spot will affirm to many we are worthy of support and worship). It will accelerate any long term future plans we have for the grow of our club. It will increase our off field revenue, it will give us the ability to be a big club, pay bigger wages, keep our star players (wow, who in there right mind would have thought that 5 years ago). I have read redsolo very informative blogs and opinions on SFC, he has addressed a lot of the financial issues with trying to be a CL club and the FFP rules. But there seems to be enough wiggle room for us to pull off a "world class" player purchase if SFC felt now was the time to strike while the iron is hot!!. Our Board has made brave and bold decisions before, this is another one they must be contemplating........we are not going to be relegated, we sit in 2ND place on merit, we are financially sound (got 30 mill, burning a hole in Reeds pocket), and we have a transfer window coming up that we can try to improve the team to sustain a top 4 challenge. Hey if they fail, maybe it was enough for a top 6. I'd take that any day. We will still be moving in the right direction. So i am hoping our Manager and board see it as a chance of a life time to catapult us into the stratosphere of footballing giants. That they will take the gamble, continue to be bold and smart in picking players who will take us to the next level. That they recognition that the risk reward ratio is tipping into our favour and a big gamble in January will be the killer blow to all doubters. My wishes would be a WC striker or attacking midfielder, someone who can turn the tide of a tight game. We have never ventured in this pond before, 30+ mill player is a huge gamble, but if our manager reputation, the performance of the team to this point and the potential to stick it to the big boys, we may have a player out there willing to be part of this saints miracle journey and join the SAINTS GO MARCHING ON!! Who would you pick?, just one, the one to get you to the CL, the one that will compliment what we have......the one....the one....the one..............

excellent work Phil, you should put your resume into SFC media dept., your attitude and ideas would be an assets to any club. I don't know where you live, but here in North America there is very little coverage of our great story. I agree, in the football world (not NA soccer), real football jurno's who are enamored by the game and not the glitz will see our story as print worthy, but NA jurno's are not as concerned about the substance as they are about the GLITZ. SFC does not register high enough on the Richter scale to register in the fan support dept. But there is a ripple.... people are enjoying and nodding in approval to the way we have progressed in the last few years. SFC (Kreuger) must capitalize on this and do everything they can to promote SFC globally (NA should be Kreugers specialty!). If we keep up this good form, we will get the press from even the most incompetent of jurno's that just regurgitate top story. The game is rigged! I cannot emphasis this point enough, FFP has made off field revenue a must for any club that wants to challenge the big boys. If SFC can be the new fans favorite and grow globally, we will take so much pressure off our club having to produce wonder kids, buy low and sell high, wage restrictions, transfer vultures etc..... spread the word, saints deserve to be heard, Supporting Saints is not a sin, as the Saints go Marching in! -

I hope some of that 30 mill profit from player sales will go towards international promotion. Here is where Kreuger need to earn his money, take advantage of the huge North American market which he is familiar with. I see Saints are assisting with away game ticket prices and coach assistance to get larger away support. This is good use of our extra cash, to give something back to the fans, making games more affordable to more fans every now and then will help with the support base. Hmmm.....who wants to go in with me and start a Saints T shirt and jersey store in North America? Hey Saints marketing team, do ya read this, send me some promo stuff to hand out at the Toronto FC games, they get what football is all about. The most English football crowd feeling (beer, singing, beer, slagging off refs, beer, cheering win or loss, beer, singing on the way home....) to a game than any other NA fans. Thanks for the reddit.com site, added that one to my bookmarks. -

second week in second place and the silence is deafening. It is a shame how we are ignored by the media. I have to scan down 20 articles of multiple references to the games the big 6 played to finally find a small snippet of our win. Will we be able to break that glass ceiling? or will the media, referees, FA conspire to keep the small club with a little fan base from reaching it's cash cow, footballing shangri-la, know as the Champions league. Will they forgo the millions they may think they may lose if a mega club is not filling up its stadiums and viewership/tv packages. I have noticed the last two games the refs have added a bit more time on after the allotted extra time, just to add a little more pressure on us, both times we were leading by one goal. Maybe I am being too cynical, but I hope they let the players on the field determine the outcome of the games regardless of their perceived PL status. -
Anyone else think we could be on the verge of something special?
Bermuda Saint replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Very wise??? retaining our position in the PL? I know some want to protect there tender hearts from getting broken, but let lose the chains, let yourself dream of the possibilities! If this start to the season and the way we have played is not enough for you to get hopeful, actually bloody exploding with excitement, then you are a damaged fan that has lost all hope/balls to say we are good and we will kick everyone's buttocks! ok, may not be true, but there is enough evidence that we will have one of the strongest defenses again (better subs to sustain it this year) and a very strong midfield!! this alone will keep us in most games! even if our new look attacking players are not on form we have enough to grind out tough games (but I have seen enough to be confident we will find the net). This isn't based on blind Saints loyalty, it is on watching all the teams play and being objective of their form......I am no expert, but to my footballing eye, we posses a lot of strength that will see us be even tougher to beat than last year. I see big teams struggling with their new look sides and management (Manu, Tott, Eve, Liv), these teams will not get a lot of time to get it right, points lost is points lost, they are finding out there are no push overs in the PL, every team has the quality to hurt a dysfunctional team, no matter how expensive their players are. Our team has shown an early understanding of how to implement RK tactics, he has made subtle changes, steady improvement. This has been rewarded with points and team loyalty by showing they want to train even on a day off........c'mon crack a smile....i dare ya! -
It has been mentioned before that we need to grow our fan base across the world to help us in the FFP rules. This is very important to the long term future of SFC. If we can increase our off field revenue, we will be able to offer bigger wages/transfers/contracts. The media continue to ignore us and constantly down play the way we win, always saying the other team had a bad day, injuries, gelling etc. They are forced to write about us when we continue to outperform and challenge the elite clubs and sit near the top of the table. But if you listen carefully, read through all the "we had an off day against the Saints" B.S., you will hear snippets of admiration. A renewed look at a club doing things the right way, good football, good financials, good academy etc. SAINTS ARMY!! we are winning them over , we are gaining new fans!. We as the devoted red and white army need to attack, assault the web pages, the blogs with positives post about our club, when i read the big footballing sites i see so many comments form those big clubs. We need to take the effort some of us put in this web forum and post your support for the Saints on these footballing sites. Let the world know that we have a vibrant, passionate and exciting club. Lets do our part to spread the word, show the world we saints fans exist, stand up for our good play and ability to overcome adversity. We can do our part in helping to spread the word and promote the SFC. I will get KL to give each person a free ticket to a home game for everyone who brings in a new fan! March on Saints! March on!

Martin Samuel p*sses in our pool again.....
Bermuda Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Samuel is a clown, but even in his stupidity, he may have stumbled upon a harsh reality that we all have to face. Can we, Should we hold onto our players that are wanted by bigger clubs?. Ye,s this years could be a one off, we showed the world we had talented players and they came with their cheque books open. It proved smart business to sell under such circumstances (players wanting/insisting to leave). I have been openly optimistic of our club and board after the ML era began. I still am, but with this optimism has to come some semblance of rational thought. If we continue to show the PL that we can push for the top six, then we have the players they will want to buy, spydy, vic, clyne, tadic, jrod are already realistic targets for CL clubs with deep pockets and high wages. Even our new hero, RK maybe tempted like Poch to cash in on a one season hit and move to a CL club (If Barcelona want their alumni back, it would be hard to turn down). It will mean another year of rebuilding and finding new players who are just as talented and cost far less. Still not gloom and doom for me, because of the wealth of football talent in the world, I think we have a greater pool of players to choose from than ever before, world wide coaching and training methods are improving. Not everyone can fit in the top CL teams, and we are shaping up to be the next best group! The manager/coach makes a huge difference, he is responsible for making us tick, wrong manager will mean poor playing style and poor players being bought. Lets hope RK can stay for awhile and become a Saints legend, building teams that constantly challenge the status quo until we can one day stand shoulder to shoulder with them. To do that bit of magic, we need to grow our fan base, we have to be the new hot team that newcomers to the biggest game in the world want to be a Saint! We are on the right track, many are falling in love with SFC and the way we play, our march up the leagues, and the so called fire sale of our best players being turned around into another successful season without them. It has many football lovers rooting for us to crack that glass ceiling. So if these sales do happen, I will still be positive because our board has brought us this far, I will not doubt them when the next big test of our clubs resolves happens next transfer period. -
this was the tune i was thinking of. money, money, money......Mané for the love of Mané.....Mané, Mané, Mané, Mané......Mané....etc.....

what are the odds for a bet on 7 in the table or higher for saints. I want to put money on the line to back up my faith that we have a great team capable of beating last years record. Manu has shown it is quickly getting it act together and will once again be a force this year.
-
What the F*&k do you people want!!!! We have been playing very good football, unlucky to loose at LP, boring but solid against WBA and crushed WH and NC. Each game they seem to be gelling quickly, new boys proving they are as good as their reputations. We have a bunch of winnable game at home coming up, and could be within that top six (we are now 3rd) come Christmas. Many of you quote that we will not get in the top 6 for reasons like a key player injury, the teams in the top 6 are to strong....etc......I call Bullcrap!, any team that looses a key player will fear a decline in team performance, we have better depth and money for January if we need to strengthen. I don't see why we can't be in that top 6, i only see three shoe-ins (C,MC,Ars). I have seen enough now to stick my neck on the line and predict we will beat 8th place last year. A huge accomplishment after such a tumultuous summer. We have more to add with Jrod, Mane and promising academy players to boost out squad. Love the way Roko is setting his team up, good substitutes at the right times. Our press is still very good, doing it in groups, closing down and picking up the free man (tks Poch, that's the last compliment u will get). But not over pressing, mixing it up with long balls and more attacking passing. Roko has proven to me he is a better coach than Poch in 3 short months. So I go into each game like the coach and players, WITH THE BELIEF THAT WE WILL WIN!! top six is attainable, because we are that good!! Saints go Marching in!

Sepp Blatter considers "review of decsions"
Bermuda Saint replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
VERY HAPPY. About time!, and it has been introduced like i was hoping , one appeal a half, it will put a lot of pressure on the coach and supporting staff, they will have to be fast with making an appeal, reviewing within seconds the foul, card, offside or any number of thing which might turn a game. The review guys are gonna get a big pay rise. The coach will make the ultimate decision, appeal an offside that was overruled and then get a red card or good goal disallowed later in the half would be his cross to bare. But in an attempt at fairness, it is a good beginning. I still see it being manipulated by corrupt refs that can always influence a game multiple times, rendering the one challenge per half useless. We have also seen instant replays on tight situation, that even at slow motion and watching several times, we are not sure. So I still expect a lot of controversy. I wonder how long they will have to appeal once the ref has made a decision or lack of? can they make an appeal on calls (ref make a decision that you disagree with) and no calls (ref missed an incident that you disagreed with)? I am looking forward to how this experiment works out. We cannot fight back the technology that is coming to all sports. -

Southampton whiz Harrison Reed gets senior England chance
Bermuda Saint replied to Bermuda Saint's topic in The Saints
you are missing the point, I am trying to find some logic in what happened this year and try to guess what our board is doing. There is a genius vision here if it comes off!! The sell off of our players may have been the financing we needed to consolidate and to grow as a club, especially our off field revenue to comply with FFP. If we can achieve this we may have a better chance of keeping the next group of academy players (which are waiting in the wings right now). But you have to believe that the academy players are good enough to be future stars in the PL. BIG, BIG ask, but who better than SFC, we have a good record of identifying early-on good players, that are then coached into first team players. NC was raving on about our academy player getting into the first team, our coaches are full of praises, we read good things about them in their youth games.....so why not believe they may have a group that is capable of making the first team. If the board new we have a group of senior players wanting to leave for big money and thought, no problem, we have a group of about 7 academy players who shows just as much promise as that lot. Now, we have about 3 year window before they mature into full PL players. We could be ready by then to hold onto our academy players if we have grown enough within the FFP. If not we will have the reality of being stripped of our players before we get to enjoy them for ourselves. I am sure anyone that is a Saints fan felt the pride of our academy players putting on a Saints shirt in the PL and doing us proud. Lets see if the board have a vision of creating another golden generation to lead out the red and whit army!!! Saints go marching on!! -
Southampton whiz Harrison Reed gets senior England chance
Bermuda Saint posted a topic in The Saints
Southampton whiz Harrison Reed gets senior England chance! this is great news for Reed and SFC. We have several players in the England youth set up, but not regulars in our team, except for JWP. I think our youth that are coming into the first team will be our next golden generation. JWP is being groomed for a future England CM role. Reed 19, has been recognized as a very talented CM, being used by the senior England squad is very encouraging that his talents are that good, he hasn't barley had a sniff at first team football and yet he is used by the England national squad, says a lot t me about his quality. We have Targett, who is rumored to be as good as out 30mil man Shaw. Rowe had a great preseason and even Isgrove worked his socks off to show he can offer something to the team. How many more are really good and just quietly improving in our youth set up. My hope is that we can keep these talented homegrown players long enough to have them lead SFC to glory. Maybe the board has learned some lesson from the last sell off of our academy players. They seem to be keeping these group of 19 years old players a little more protected, no point putting them on the PL stage to be poached if we are not ready to hold onto them by refusing big money or not being financial capable to offer competitive wages because of the FFP rules. I still believe we will not see real progression forward for SFC as a big player unless we increase our off field revenue. Increase our shirt sales. By being the most attractive football club outside of the top 6 to new fans looking for a club that has good footballing pricipals. -
I have been very optimistic of our direction since the appointment of Roko, and tried to encourage the pessimistic on here that we will be ok, we are still heading in the right direction, lots of drama to come! but with a good new coach and new players fitting in we can only improve as we gel and new players get used to the PL. I have seen the future, we all have, I just didn’t understand the importance of this young man. JWP is the new Mr. Saint, the one that will lead our new generation of academy products into the light of the poaching CL clubs. If he can fulfill his potential, continue his progression into the English national team then he will be the next to be tempted away. JWP must be given time to mature, he doesn’t have the luxury of honing his skills in the lower divisions like lalla, spidy, clyne. Etc…..he will have to prove himself against the world class players. Tough task, but his academy coaches, English Intl. youth managers, Mopo and Roko have seen enough to put this boy in the starting 11. I have to trust their judgment, the fans need to get behind him and support him because he could be the leader of our next golden generation. We have heard good things about our academy products, many on the verge of first team football, if this is the case (our academy coaching has been right so far) then they must be good, very good but are still very young! Most good footballers are maturing into their skills around their early 20’s, that leaves a few years for our academy products to ripen into the type of players that are confident in their game. With patient integration with our established foreign players we will continue to have a sustainable model. If the stars line up just right and we manage to hold onto our best players for a few years to let this team mature into it's full potential, we may win a cup or reach that top 6. The future is still bright, the future is red and white!

Gaston Ramiez to Hull on Season Long Loan - Official
Bermuda Saint replied to NorthamSteve's topic in The Saints
WELL THAT WAS A SHOCKER, everyone.....sorry, some people had hope that this would be his year to shine, agree he made a good effort at the end of the season when given games. This year he looked ready for the challenge, still noticed his flaws (giving the ball away with poor ticks or passes) but also displayed his brilliance at times. So we see Gaston on the field (not much for 2yrs) but the coaches see him all the time. What did they see, a lazy player in training? (Roko has shown Tadier the door with his skill but lack of desire). A player too injury prone to continue to pay his wages on the rehab table? Just not good enough in training, continuing to make too many mistakes? or just doesn't fit ROKO style? very curious indeed. Oh well, Hull can now see if he can stay fit, and I think if he can, and Bruce plays him as AM we will see him improve each game. He is on loan, no mention of option to buy. So if he is great for Hull we can take him back, just like the big boys, feels kinda good -
EXCELLENT news, Mane and Toby are exciting young players.
