  1. If we do against the odds get through against City, then let's hope we draw the winners of Palace/Everton! How typical though, all the big teams avoid each other...If I was a conspiracist I'd say they drew it in such a way which gave the 4 intended teams the FA want through the best possible ties. I'm sure the FA will want a Merseyside fixture in Wembley, with a City vs Chelsea "Champions League" repeat as the other game. I'm sure the police would rather that didn't happen, would be around 80,000 Scousers in London!
  2. MANCHESTER CITY at HOME
  3. On now - ITV. Gareth Southgate is doing it!
  4. Middlesbrough , or the winner of Forest/Huddersfield at home - easy. My worry then is Ralph does make 9 changes and it potentially goes pear-shaped, but then lets worry about that after the draw eh! I think what would be even better would be if somehow Chelsea, Liverpool, City drew each other and then the other one drew Palace or Everton (assuming Boreham Wood lose)
  5. https://www.villatalk.com/topic/22783-pre-match-thread/page/3/#comments One Villa fan has called you "more delusional than most opposition fans", but other than that reading their forum seems most are feeling positive about their chances too. I think it is a 50/50 but perhaps our form means we edge it. Doesn't mean they don't have the quality to hurt us though so can see 3 results. Bookies have Villa as the favourites.

    Che Adams

Che has been nominated for PL player of the month too. Vote here: https://www.premierleague.com/news/2509230
  7. Everyone, Ralph has been nominated alongside Howe, Klopp and Arteta. Please vote here: https://www.premierleague.com/news/2509232 It might make a difference, as the fans' vote will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be revealed next week.
  8. I'll be honest, I felt like we would lose after the first 20 minutes. WHU had two good chances I think and perhaps on another day they could have taken them. However, our wondergoal changed everything, shifted momentum to us and then even at 1-1 when Antonio scored I wasn't as worried as I knew we had 5 subs with which we could make an impact. I think first goal was crucial, and WHU fans may feel similar too.
  9. Is there anything stopping these invaders going to another football game though? Or, could they not set up another account with a new customer number, buy a game through general sale and then go in again? Are all stewards at the turnstiles trained to know who to look out for? Is there someone watching cameras for every turnstile entry? I just wonder how it works and maybe that's why we are seeing it somewhat regularly again.
  10. A bit flappy at times, but ultimately proved to be a cockblock.
  11. Also we should have a full weeks rest before the QF right? We have a Sunday game against Watford on the 13th. Ralph may well have justified tonights team because it was a midweek game but the FA Cup QF is literally the final game before the 2 week international break. Let’s wait on the draw though how exciting!
  12. That is largely Caballero’s fault… Not the first time he has flapped at it too. Oh well, lets make changes please we’re still in this.
  13. Probably cause he started in the 2003 FA Cup final so has fond memories of that from his point of view
  14. Romeu, Broja, Adams, Redmond all have to come on at some point please.
  15. That ginger girl caught on camera giving it back haha - that is a GIF for the future
  16. Diallo twice confirming why Romeu is in ahead of him - got away with it there
  17. Armstrong had a good chance there, first time should hit target at least Keown says
  18. Djenepo good tracking back there, credit where its due. Armstrong's acceleration looks decent tbf, need to make use of that
  19. Long down in the 20th minute - are these lot so bad we need to take our gel packs this early?
  20. WHU have had 2 big chances now, playing us off the park. We look like headless chickens with the movement and pressing - need to shithouse a goal somehow because Ralph still playing a suicidal high line which with this side is worrying.
  21. Djenepo slashing at that clearly shows the lack of games/match fitness. Stephens did well to deal with Bowen at the other end.
  22. Ralph- "trust in every player we have. we talk how important everyone is. there is no reason to not give them a chance, they bought us here and think about longy who scored against swansea. so important to give players a chance to show up" "Maybe we have 120 minutes today or a penalty shootout, so long way to go. It is an interesting side and a good opponent so I am looking forward to it"
