He has such creative players at his disposal and yet he continues to play down the wings and spam balls into the box. Giving Rooney 300k certainly doesn't help. A part of me wonders how we aren't above them at times! :/

From our 11 wins this season, 8 of those wins have come from us doing the double over four teams (Fulham, WBA, Hull and Crystal Palace)... As GS said, we have only beaten one team in the top ten. Personally, European football won't come this season... Unless we see a massive change around...and well next season? It all depends on what happens in the summer IMO.

I meant as in average now. I'm sure he was good in his prime. He might add experience, but apart from that, nothing more. He might be a better option than Rickie, but I'd rather invest in young players or players in their prime... As for those 25 caps, he had those around 2008/09... He has only made one international apperance in the last four years mate.

He is a average footballer in a slow league... As weve seen, not many Serie A players adapt to the Premier League (only the young players and even then- they don't all make it in the Prem!) Not only this, but he is 31. I'd rather invest in someone in their prime, not a has been who might not even make it.

Yeah, can't see Everton/Man U dropping too many points... When I say 'isn't out of reach', I'm trying to say really unlikely, and then I explained that we'll have to win a load of games and hope results go our way. I think that the team who does finish 6th, will have considerably more points than the team in 7th. Just my opinion though, I could be completely wrong... This season is really unpredictable.

We definitely won't finish top 6... 7th isn't out of reach but we'll need to finish the seasom very strongly and hope results go our way. 8th is definitely reachable however.

Hes only 22... Yes his passing ability is poor but I'm sure he will come good. I'd rather he learn from his mistakes now than later. When Yaya Toure was 22, he probably wasn't as good... He is also being linked with Man City too...

Steklenburg IMO, is a really good keeper (bar that poor game against Chelsea tbh), and he isn't really helped by Fulham's aging defence... He is the Dutch No. 1 for a reason too.
