  1. I'd play 433, at the Emirates we were more than in it in the first half and had Pelle scored the chance which Davis beautifully set up for him I reckon it would be a different story. I'd rather have Alderweireld marking Sanchez, and I believe Yoshida is more than capable of handling Welbeck. Only problem is, I'm not sure whether Wenger will play Welbeck up top or Sanchez up top or whether he plays on the wing. However, today, Welbeck was on the wing and Sanchez was up top. If that's the case, I'd play this: Forster Yoshi Fonte Alderweireld Bertrand JWP Wanyama Davis Tadic Pelle Mane/Long Bench: Davis, Gardos, McCarthy, Targett, Reed, Mane/Long, Seager. I'd like to see Reed play instead of Tadic, but I reckon a lot of you would slate that idea.
  2. This is my one: Players Best player - Alderweireld for me Best signing - Toby Worst player - Mayuka Worst Signing - Can I say Saphir Taider? If not then Gardos, but tbf to him he hasn't been that bad. Best goal - I'd say Pelle vs QPR, won the game for us too, bit of magic needed. Games Best team we've played - Man City Best player we have faced - Aguero Worst team we've played - Sunderland Worst player we have faced - Mannone Best Saints performance - Sunderland tbh Worst Saints performance - Sheff Utd/Burnley The Premier League To win - Chelsea To go down - Leicester, Palace, Burnley Other team which has over performed - West Ham Other team which has under performed - Liverpool Best player - Aguero (when not injured) or Alexis Sanchez Worst player - Balotelli lool, or Lovren haha I agree with most of you here tbh.
  3. 1-1. I would've taken that all day long.
  4. i'd put on long for tadic.
  5. wait, i swear we've never dropped points from a winning position? looking like that will change
  6. exactly. That is why a player of his calibre costs 40/50 million. These players win games on their own for you. Fair play to Hazard. Left both our defenders embarrassed.
  7. Anyways, I'm off to the game. Talk to you all later!
  8. I wouldn't be surprised tbh, we do need bodies in midfield.
  9. So Alps- are you going to the game now?
  10. Nah, I reckon this. Forster Toby Fonte Yoshi Targett Morgan Wanyama Davis Mane Pelle Tadic 433.
  11. Chelsea Lineup: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry ©, Filipe Luis; Matic, Mikel; Schurrle, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa. With Mikel playing I feel we have a chance all of a sudden!
  12. Forster Toby Fonte Yoshida Targett Morgan Wanyama JWP Mane/Long Pelle Tadic Subs: Davis, Gardos, Long, Reed, Davis, Seager and Mccarthy This would be my team.
  13. The fact that he 'watched' the game doesn't necessarily mean he is in England. I'd say he found an online stream and watched us!
  14. Paul and Lawro have both spoken. Everyone was talking about Chelsea getting a game against West Ham, who were playing in the form of their life, but it was like an FA Cup game between the Premier League leaders and a team three leagues below. Chelsea were a different class. I cannot see Southampton beating them and I’m going for a 2-0 away win. PAUL PREDICTS: 0-2 Lawro: Both of these sides won comfortably on Boxing Day - Southampton at Crystal Palace and Chelsea against West Ham. Saints were also impressive when they beat Everton in their previous game and they seem to have got a bit of confidence back after their run of poor results. So, this is a big challenge for Chelsea but, just like they did against the in-form Hammers, it is one I think they will pass. Blues boss Jose Mourinho keeps picking his best team, and they keep winning games. He makes it look very simple. Lawro's prediction: 0-2 Jack's prediction: I reckon Chelsea will get a run for their money but cannot see Saints beating them. 0-2
  15. one does never feel pity for Pompey.
  16. this. though Phil Neville, 'I think they have won 6 games 2-1 this season, that shows great resilience'. In what fuc*ing way Phil? The worst pundit/commentator ever.
  17. lol. Anyways, QPR was one in our first season back I think- when we beat them 3-1? Was Fulham another? I'm not sure tbh
  18. 'Hard Work beats Talent if Talent doesn't Work Hard'
  19. That was a great 30 seconds of analysis by the monotonous Phil Neville.
  20. I always say, look at how Hull replaced Shane Long. I'm sure they'd rather than Long than Abel Hernandez.
  21. guys. todays goal was clearly forsters fault. he should've positioned himself better
  22. I'm gonna say 0-0 at half time, or 1-0 to us, but then expect Mourinho to 'tactically' outwit us and win it 2-0/2-1. He did that last season. Though then again he always knew how to play against Poch's football... Actually, screw what I've said- I trust Koeman. 3-0 to Saints. Pelle, Long and Pelle again.
  23. how do you vote multiple times?
  24. oh dear. harsh.
  25. We lost 3-0 to Chelsea last season at home.
