I felt like that after Brentford but now I go into tonight with hope and thinking we can win this.
-
to be fair only 1 person aired that view and he* was shut down pretty quickly. *MLG don't come at me for that assumption
-
How many of those that bought, albeit with a purchase history, will be Liverpool fans though. Not that it matters too much I guess, more money for the club’s coffers.

We need the following: A striker who can score at least 35+ PL goals A tricky winger with an xA of at least 20, and to notch around 15 goals to share the burden A crunching midfielder with the stamina of Kante and passing ability of Xavi A right footed CB to complement our left footed CB as it is the only way to solidify the defence A goalkeeper who isn't just a shotstopper but can also use both his feet to start our attacks - a must. Before anyone comes at me, yes I am joking The question is almost like "how long is a piece of string?", as if I had my way I'd say we need 8 new players for the XI but constraints mean that is not possible.

The solution - Ralph needs to play these 3 more https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10804801/Much-maligned-Fred-Harry-Maguire-actually-Man-Uniteds-good-luck-charms.html

Yep exactly, those at the game were likely season ticket holders with at least 5/6 aways to their name - so significant indeed.

https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/129155-are-you-rodgers-in-or-rodgers-out/ Over 80% of LCFC fans on this poll want Brendan out. Would anyone else take Brendan were he to be fired? Do we still hate him for those words aimed at us all so long ago? Would he even accept us or are we too small a job for him (though I'm sure we can offer £7m plus) I wonder whether Leicester fans have got ahead of themselves and believe they should be pushing for Europa every season.
-
We said the same last season, and lost Ings/Vestegaard/Bertrand to boot. I agree though, next season will be different to this with the WC in November, although finding someone to gel in with the non-internationals might be perfect during that month if Ralph is given the summer and can't stop the rut.

Just like that, they are out of the relegation zone again! Can someone tell me if the game is finished yet?
-
I am fully aware that the game isn’t over yet. It is true though that with one goal they can take themselves out of the relegation zone, but yes equally a Leicester goal would bring them back in it. My post was written more with a pessimism that Everton will survive, and would make me happier should it be wrong later this afternoon.
-
Just like that Everton are out of it, always knew they would survive.
-
Yep, but let's not forget that Bednarek blew smoke up Ralph's arse when he said something along the lines that Ralph could manage a big club or Man Utd (or something similar)
-
and similarly on Instagram… top rated/most liked comments on the defeat are all basically “Ralph out”.
-
https://strawpoll.com/polls/1MnwvdYp5y7 Results are very interesting! I expected it to be around the 60/40 in Ralph out camp.
-
You’re only saying that because Thomas Frank’s made Eriksen and Toney look good. At this moment in time I don’t think Eriksen would look creative, and Toney wouldn’t look a “reliable double figures goal getter” if both were under Ralph. I struggle to think where Eriksen would fit in with Ralph’s 4222.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trainer/verfuegbaretrainer/statistik Lots of options here. I reckon Nuno could be a good fit, might have some good contacts, though club may not like his links to Mendes given we pay some of the lowest agent fees in the Prem. Also as a PL club I see no reason why we couldn’t pay enough to entice Rudi Garcia or a Favre in the £8m region.

Now, we have 10 days until this fixture, whilst Liverpool play Spurs tonight, Villa on the 10th, then an FA Cup final on the 14th against Chelsea. Now who do we think will look fresher on the pitch? Ralph can win some goodwill back if we miraculously get something from this game, although I suspect for many the damage is now done. The team I would play? Honestly probably too soon to care right now. Prediction: Saints 1-4 Liverpool.

https://strawpoll.com/polls/1MnwvdYp5y7 It would be useful to see how we all feel.

It is really sad though it has come to this if true. As they say “You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
-
I think we are giving 100% to be fair, I see we are pressing, but on pitch it looks like we are running around like headless chickens. We’re seeing too many mistakes, methods and automatisms that aren’t working, players who have gone off the boil and no cohesion to our play. What we aren’t seeing is results, and that’s why he has to go at the end of the season.
-
Depends how the board see it really. Ralph on the camera there had a slight smirk, would like to know what is going on in his mind right now.
-
3-0. Shades of WBA last season.
-
Yep but at the same time you get what you pay for. If you want to tap into real potential, then you need to spend money on the likes of Fofana, Tielemans, Bowen in the £20m + region… There is a reason why Lyanco, Diallo are cheaper sadly they just don’t cut it… they might improve to be bottom half PL players but nothing the top 6 would want.

Brentford’s set pieces have really impressed me. Lots of movement at the back post, bit of jostling, physical and creating space. Ours have gone straight to GK and we look static when it comes to attacking the ball.
