What a ridiculous fee to pay if true, and would explain how Wolves have funded their £38m purchase of Nunes. They’ve played a blinder. Kalvin Phillips went for £45m too right? I know contract expiry etc is different but whatever floats their boat I guess.

Only because he is an attacking alternative, and yeah I did wonder why he wasn't in the squad yesterday given in the presser Ralph said only Lyanco didn't train properly. And I only named 4 as the 5th sub for me should be used depending on circumstances - if we are winning then I'd be happy for Stephens/Bednarek to be used etc purely depending on the situation, unfortunately I have no crystal ball!

Bazunu KWP, ABK, Salisu, Perraud (or Djenepo if still not fit) JWP, Romeu, Lavia Aribo, Adam A Che A 4321/433 variant with Adam Armstrong on the left wing? I think that is his best position and he had a good cameo when he came on yesterday. Stuart Armstrong, Mara, Elyounoussi, Redmond should be the 4 subs to come on at some point. All 3 results are equal in probability I think, Leicester in somewhat disarray can be offset against Ralph's back 5 experiment so who knows for either team which side will turn up.

Yep, I don't get it either. Liverpool are largely close to their net spend although they haven't spent a lot and City recoup a lot from their academy sales etc etc He is sounding like a broken record now, even if they are spending their commercial revenue that too should be more than enough to beat Brentford etc whose squad cost £55m. The longer their rot continues the more music to my ears! It's just that their next away game is us now...

Can I have some of what you are drinking

1-2 Saints game on again…

Ralph has officially stayed too long to now become a villain. If this results can cost Ralph his job and perhaps get Sports Republic to spend some more than that is a bitter pill I am willing to swallow.

2-0. Cunts
-
JWP giving that corner away sums it up
-
Bednarek needs to fuck off. The twat has his focus on the World Cup and after Ralph’s comments before the City FA Cup game why is he giving him game time. Ralph seems unable to coach how defenders should track opposition runners and movement in and around the box. Our attackers look static themselves.

1-0 Leeds… fuck off

They are looking better, we are playing like the away team, but if we win this by a smash and grab then I really won’t care. Until then I’ll be calm

There is nothing inherently wrong with 5 at the back, Spurs did it last week against us and we were a very winnable game for them. We need a fullback clearly because Djenepo does not cut it for me at full-back and Perraud hasn't even made the bench despite being the face of the matchday programme. Other than that though, I'll back and support the team, Aribo needs to come on for Moi early if he is having a stinker

Danny Ings, swivel, turn, thumping left footed finish and goal. 1-0 Villa
-
Yep, but what is sadder is for Leicester we have taken an allocation of 2,254 and for Wolves we have taken the smaller allocation of 2,382. I agree though, can expect all but those against the Big 6 clubs to make general sale.
-
Honestly other than Spurs away which sold out to Season Ticket Holders with no aways, look how comfortably Wolves and Leicester has gone to general sale… Culmination of factors I’m sure.
-
I would genuinely chuck a £12m a year contract at him on a 3 year deal
-
I’d be passionate as well if I’m earning £6m+ a year, where else is he going to get that.
-
I’d really like Crawley Town away
-
Don’t worry, our players will manage it.

Ryan Sessegnon: "Even for the goal today, he literally told me get in the back post and you will score. That helped me today. He said Kyle Walker-Peters is quite small at the back post so if a ball goes in make sure you are there to head it in. "Literally just before the warm-up he came to me and I took it on board and I don’t think you guys saw but two minutes before that a ball went in and I missed the opportunity to get in there, so I was very angry at that situation. When the ball came in again I had to be there." https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/players/ryan-sessegnon-perisic-tottenham-southampton-24696547

@Turkish FPL Klaxon for things that annoy you

Our squad composition currently: GKs (4): Bazunu, McCarthy, WIlly, Lis RBs (2): KWP, Tino CBs (7): Bednarek, Salisu, ABK, Stephens, Lyanco, Valery, Simeu LBs (1): Perraud CMs/No. 6s (4): JWP, Romeu, Lavia, Diallo Wide No. 10s (7): Stu, Aribo, Djenepo, Redmond, Elyounoussi, Walcott, Tella STs (3): Adams, Armstrong, Mara If we have a goal of say 2 in each position, we need to loan out/remove Valery, Simeu, Walcott and in my opinion Djenepo too but his versatility to play as a LWB/LM means he is getting favoured. Use those outgoings for a ST, a fullback in the first instance and I think centreback only if one of Stephens/Lyanco goes too.

I am really not sure what the best team is here. I think I’d vouch for a 3 at the back though to match Spurs. Spurs have their fourth and final fixture tonight against Roma, otherwise their results on paper don’t look spectacular but I don’t have the context for each match. Spurs pre-season results: 13 July Team K-League 3-6 Spurs 16 July Sevilla 1-1 Spurs 23 July Rangers 1-2 Spurs 30 July v Roma (Haifa - 7:15pm) Bazunu KWP, ABK, Salisu, Lyanco, Perraud JWP, Romeu Aribo, Stu Adams I think a 3421 with Aribo/Stu in the wide 10s perhaps for me but that team looks horribly lacking on pace though. But I do think Bednarek will end up starting and perhaps Elyounoussi. I think it will finish 1-0 Spurs, but we’ll do surprisingly okay but end up with zilch with a Son sucker punch against the run of play at some point.
