Am reading his book "Jellyman's Thrown a Wobbly" which is all about Soccer Saturday, and came across the following quote whilst his was writing about Le Tiss: .."As it was, by staying at Southampton he was a) regarded highly by large numbers of the football community because his club were hardly perennial winners, and b) hated only by Pompey fans, and who really cares about that?" Brilliant, and that from a Hartlepool fan as well. I would highly recomend the book, has some great stories in it, and Jeff's admiration for Le Tiss is there for all to see.

Baj Have you tried 'Painting with numbers?' - that might be enough to stimulate his interest. Whilst I'm with you on the arty side (I can't draw/paint any better than an elephant with a brush!!), he will have to take part in lessons/activities he doesn't like/find interesting when he is at school so he may as well start getting used to it. For instance, he won't be able to walk out of an english lesson and say "**** this, I prefer science"
