check out apple refurb in google, its from apple directly, i just got my third one from there and am well chuffed with it. They sell returns etc and there are some savings to be made. Mine came with the screen protector etc all in place and appears new. Delivery was next day too.

I bought a studio lighting sync lead for about £8 on the high st. Not sure if you can get one for a flash??

Can you not trigger it from the on camera flash? If not you may have to get a sync lead which are not very expensive. It will fit on the hotshoe and connect to the flash.

I have just finished building a studio from scratch in a log cabin. I got muslin backdrops from ebay which I have found pretty good as they have the loop to hang them with and are thick material, they were about £40. Height is the main issue I have had. I have bought Bowens lighting which so far seems very good.

I have the 170mm-500mm and got because I think it was about 500g lighter than the 50-500 and did not need to go down to 50mm
