  1. I saw Van Dijk at the front of St. Mary's with family about an hour after the match, and Fonte was at the parking lot signing autographs, so I somewhat doubt that happened.
  2. Someone was on social media claiming that Boufal picked up an injury recently, according to BBC they claim. No word from the club and can't seem to find a link however.
  3. I am not happy about the current situation, but you do realize we already have six more points this year than villa got all of last.. Hardly an even comparison...
  4. Talked with a few online after the match, and they seem to think that we were the worst to come to Goodison and never sung (which was clearly false as anyone in the away end could tell you) and that their **** atmosphere was because they expected to win and didn't bother to make noise. They apparently only create atmosphere in the big matches. Supposedly, we are a much lesser side and only beating us 3-0 was a disappointment according to one. Goes in line with the few who came on here rambling about Koeman and "breaking the glass window." I know this doesn't reperesent most Everton fans but they do seem to be a strange bunch.
  5. Thanks all for messages. I am quite sorry if I caused this, I had a dreadful feeling something of this manner would happen, but it is quite astounding how bad it was over the three games: nine goals conceded, -7 GD, 2 red cards, and 2 pens conceded. Nonetheless, unforgettable trip and experienced a fairly decent atmosphere (IMO) for long periods of the matches. Obviously quite nice to share my passion for Saints with so many likeminded people, you really don't run into too many back in the states. We march on and all that... Miscellaneous thing to report: Puel arrived very late to the coach and was extremely glum and depressed it appeared. More so then all of the players. Perhaps his interview took longer than normal and maybe you can say his usual mood isn't that far off that, but I would hypothesize that he is getting quite worried. Perhaps Krueger had a quick word with him after the match?
  6. Third and final match was this afternoon. Absolutely gutted although the atmosphere in the away end was quite good. Perplexingly atrocious support from Everton, with the end to the left of the away fans waiting till possible around the 80th minute to sing a single song. Fair play to the Everton stewards who let me stand next to the coach and meet and few of the players.
  7. Absolutely atrocious atmosphere from the Everton support. Heard them sing once. Nervy start Saints but much better last 25 or so. Can we nick this?
  8. Over in the UK from the United States and currently going up to Liverpool for the Everton away match tomorrow. Does anyone know what pubs the away support would meet at before the match?
  9. ...aaaaaand we lost again. Sorry everyone I appear to have cursed us
  10. Clear yellow and everyone could see that from where I was at in the Northam. Surely even his reaction could of warranted a yellow as well, as he aggressively got in Jones' face. In addition, did anyone get a view of the penalty shout late on? The whole chapel end went up in appeal from what I saw.
  11. Is it really? I was checking the sales, as I will be at this one as well, and as recently as a few days ago there were at least a few hundred tickets remaining in the upper two section. And today the sales ended, I presumed they took them down because the match is near not because they were sold out.
  12. We didn't take too many up to stoke which is hardly that much further, although it being a weekday certainly didn't help.
  13. All I saw was one bloke yelling at another because he was leaving but still having a go at the Tottenham support.
  14. So, I made the trip over from the States to watch my first saints match. Obviously not what I wanted or expected in the result, but still wished to share my thoughts... - Atmosphere was brilliant at times but poor for long periods. I was sat in block 41 of the Northam, and I guess you could put this down mostly to the inconsistency of the match. Started absolutely brilliant but petered off a bit after maybe twenty minutes. It felt as if half the stand was incredibly angry and didn't want to join in on chants. - Nothing beats the match day experience. I have watched countless dozens on the television, but the real things I quite incredible in comparison. You locals are blessed to be able to attend regularly. - Highlights were quite clearly the Virgil goal, but also absolutely taking the **** out of Kane after that pen miss. Completely hilarious. - Spurs support made quite some noise once they were comfortably ahead, but were absent for almost all of the first half. Loved that when they started their OWTS we drowned them out with the proper version. - Most people were way more passionate than I expected, although that may be as a result of sitting in the most passionate part of the ground. - Sarcastic cheering when Fraser made a successful kick, booing of Wanyama, and the abuse towards Boufal and Redmomd surprised me. - Obviously very disappointed in having that be my first match, but will be there for the WBA home and Everton away matches, so hopefully will be a bit of an improvement.
  15. Haha, this might be irrelevant now, but I meant on the Saints site, that was a bit vague from me.
  16. I do know that there is some kind of resell market online site.
  17. Match isn't till Wednesday.
  18. Clasie out for "Perhaps ten days" according to Claude.
  19. Click on the image, and it will zoom out.
  20. Not being a Southampton supporter for that many years, why exactly do we dislike Brighton?
  21. This... Complete legend
  22. Great win. Betrand was incredibly effective, which is nice to see as I have thought he's been a bit of the pace since his return from injury. Davis introduction key, really impressed me with his composure and work rate, masterpiece from Puel. Absolute stunner from Jay, confidence is vital for him, and if we can get him consistently firing then I have high hopes for this season, despite the many disappointments thus far. And I'm off from the US to watch the next three matches in the UK. Absolutely ****ing buzzing!
  23. I would guess they just dislike everyone.
  24. I believe this is the survey he is referencing http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/revealed-premier-leagues-most-loved-6087046 Its quite interesting.
  25. Redmond was put on in the second half, and immediately after our play rapidly improved. I'm not saying there is necessarily a direct coordination, but IMO your statement is wrong .
