Cheers for making this thread, totally warranted. Let's make one each time we see an 'article' of this sort over the next 2 and a bit months.

We do have Yann Valery who from the sounds of things is really one to watch. And McCarthy probably felt he doesn't have a route in the first team. We wanted him to be a CB.
-
A bit weird he's leaving when comparatively, we persevered with Isgrove for so long when it was clear he was total **** (yes I know he's now been released but we gave him a couple of extensions during his time here). Obviously McCarthy feels he will be better served moving as well.

It was actually this guy, I was just proving how easy it is to start a totally fabricated, b*ll**** rumour, no offence OP. https://www.dreamstime.com/stock-photography-businessman-paper-bag-smile-head-showing-ok-sign-against-white-background-image34173282

I went on holiday to Las Vegas once, bumped into a Chairman who shall remain unnamed. He personally invited me to stay with a team of players who has just won promotion to the premier league. A few drinks helped the week flow and before you knew it I was in a strip club doing coke with a man whose head was shaped like a cardboard box.

Has he even had a chance in those games during his goal draught? The penalty vs Utd the only one I can remember. Feel sorry for him, we have not played to his strengths recently.
-
Aiming the goal kicks to Bertrand on the touchline is fine I would say. Spurs do it with Walker, and Bertrand is good in the air. The other side not so much, and when the ball has been back-passed to Fraser, spotting JWP in a decent position should not automatically mean hitting a hopeful ball to him. In the same sense as my previous post, Fraser could hit a long ball straight down the middle to Pelle, and he would compete and more often than not get something on it. It's best playing out as much as possible (not helped if the crowd get restless at the slightest press from the opposition!) but then we end up with slow play getting the ball forward.
-
No service... Players can't get into the right positions to cross to him without allowing the opposition defence to get numbers back and organised. See the first two goals vs Utd in cup final, got the ball forward and quickly, hard low cross and Gabbi's movement and finishing was too good for Utd. Deep crosses into him vs 5 defenders who are all set on his own is not going to work. Like we are playing expecting Pelle in the middle, and also when we lump the ball up to him when we are clearing our lines, we expect Pelle to bring it down or win the header, Gabbi can not do that so its strange we expect him too. When he joined we played to his strengths, we haven't exploited them since his injury.

Luke Shaw's stalled development. What does it say about our academy?

In hindsight, even if Shaw had stayed fit, the £32m for him and £10m we spent on Bertrand was a cracking trade overall. -

Sit right in the middle of the corner of the Kingsland North. Good atmosphere, great view, and you sit down. Just stay about halfway up or lower.

Seems to have pimped himself about a bit following being released. You don't usually hear Academy lads in the press touting themselves if they've been released.

In the 4-2-3-1 we've been playing since Gabbiadini arrived Davis has been playing in the 2, and therefore a DM. Romeu plays the 'Anchor' role, but Davis is still a Defensive Midfielder. Without the ball Tadic effectively drops into the CM role.
