Yes, but there was no alternative mentioned to the backstop, so that was irrelevant. The backstop was the best we could do, so the WA was decent.
-
Yep, but apart from the backstop issue, no-one could tell you what was **** about it.

Did anyone watch 'Thick and Dom' doing PMQs?
-
Now, surely there is a way for Parliament - as it now has control - to bring back and vote through the Withdrawal Agreement?
-
The best solution is a deal which incorporates a customs union, but that aint gonna happen cos it's not "taking back control".
-
I would assume 99% of Gregg's customers are Brexiteers, so that's big news for them.
-
The problem is it takes time to set these things up - and this is where you need the backstop until it's sorted, as they won't be set up by the 31st October.
-
There was an indication that they would flex on that, but Boris has the Backstop as one of his red lines, and that even a time limited backstop is not acceptable.
-
Why did the majority feel the deal was lousy? Was it because that's what the right wing papers told us? With the assumption that the only way to not put a hard border on Ireland is a CU or the backstop (and no-one has come up with anything else), why is the WA a lousy deal?
-
I don't understand your point - you're saying that there was a massive disparity between what was said by both sides and what has happened - if that is true (and it is) there is no greater case for a second referendum.
-
If we're going to have a 2nd ref, then yes. Anything less and you're either splitting votes or not allowing enough detail to get the answer needed.
-
None of this is beneficial to the Tory party - they look an absolute shambles at the moment. As I said when GM and Wes were celebrating hard at Boris getting the job, they needed someone else to get the job first as that next leader had a poisoned chalice and would be out by the end of the year.
-
I'm not saying that. You do leave with a deal versus leave without a deal, then the result of that v Remain.
-
But it would tell us the way the country wants to go; Remain, Leave with a deal, Leave with no deal.

Blacken his tongue??

Exactly, why we need another vote!

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Weston must be gutted - all that effort and now he realises he must be wrong, because Wes is on the same side as him. -
We cannot play UNLESS we are being attacked - Ralph only has one way of playing and if we are attacking - not from a turnover - then our defence is so poor that we get hit on the counter and punished.
-
I'm worried when we have to play 10 men for a whole game.

No-one else does either, but Weston hot very angry and emotional about it, and thinks it's incredibly racist. However, he will happily sit aside as people indulge in racist acts, instead of being a responsible citizen and reporting people who he thinks are breaking the law, to the police. -

I don't think it's racist - Weston is arguing that because I've dressed up as Mr T in the past I am a "thick racist", yet won't report people selling these "racist" costumes, or other people that have dressed up as Mr T, to the police. -

Sorry, the costume isn't racist until it gets worn. Is that really what you're saying? So a KKK uniform wouldn't be racist until someone wore it? Mate, you're out of your depth, again. Just report it to the police or admit you were wrong. You should at least report this, shouldn't you: We'll await your Police Incident Number with baited breath. -
They now have to ask for an extension. The government has prepared it's own noose.
