  2. This. ****ing magic.
  3. We'll just have to agree to disagree then. Either way, there's no route to no deal through this leadership election, so not sure that those promising or promoting no deal will want to get through to the final 2 anyway - it'll be one of the shortest PM terms we've seen in a long time.
  4. Nobody has ever said that the NHS isn't wasteful. What I can't believe is that even after many examples of this wastage, the Government can't get the right people in charge to sort it out. Staggering incompetence.
  5. In any employment contract you sign it will state that it is x amount, subject to tax and NI payments. If not, then I definitely would take them to court.
  6. It's not the fact that any leaver would change their mind, they don't get to choose until the final two. It's that other MPs don't see this as one foible too many.
  7. I just can't see him getting through ANOTHER scandal - he is a liability, and a lot of Conservative members know that and see it - especially as conviction for this can carry a custodial sentence (and considering the severity of the result, likely could). Be interesting to see if Steve Baker can take his votes from within the party.
  8. We could well be seeing BoJo out of the race here...
  9. Personally, I think Southgate has built up enough good will that we really shouldn't be too critical that 2 slightly above average players didn't get into the final squad. At least they got to this stage - got to feel for James Maddison.
  10. So, who are you going to vote for then?
  11. True, I read that the wrong way round.
  12. Brexiters; The gift that keeps on giving.
  13. Calm down love, it's based on 10,000 voters. It's a post vote poll. Otherwise, how would they be able to get all that information about previous votes etc?
  14. Tallies with what we've been told over the last 6-12 months or so - Brexit is no longer wanted.
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48434202 No surprise there, rife amongst membership as well judging by Tories on this forum.
  16. As I say, you had to see it...was very fun watching him.
  17. Lovely precis of Boris's career here... https://www.maxhastings.com/2018/the-english-love-a-buffoon-but-the-boris-johnson-joke-went-tragically-wrong/
  18. I'm not defending him, by any means, more that I know he has a loyal base of supporters from his work in that job. Those that I know in the education sector, however, dislike him.
  19. He does still have a lot of support in the schools community, weirdly, because he expanded the academy programme and gets a lot of support for that.
  20. Looks like Cabbage Face has already voted for a second time...
  21. What's happened now? Love that you're still pretending to have voted "remain".
  22. But he's hated internally. He is, by far, the best speaker the Tories have. Certainly more Hague than Howard. Has it been long enough since he was education secretary as well, to convince any voters down the line?
  23. The fact you keep on bringing this up the more I feel I was on the correct lines. May have been a different ethnicity/race (Arabic or Jewish), but something has definitely happened. I'm sure she's promised she won't do it again.
  24. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-48380382 Another one here who probably won't recover from it.
