I realise that, and mostly that's due to players being involved in transfer 'chains'. However, with us it looks like that's not true, with Damiao and Osvaldo apparently turning us down. It would have been done prior to pre-season if they were interested, which says to me that perhaps we've targeted the incorrect players.

Perhaps, and thanks for the considered response. I am happy to hold my hands and admit I am wrong, I just personally think we have made a mistake not having the desired players in before pre-season.

What I don't understand, and something that no-one has been able to tell me is why it is justified to speak in that way over a not overly controversial opinion. Perhaps you could help tell me why it is justified.

I agree, it doesn't look like I have, but then I never realised that a forum was such a hostile place, especially talking to other fans of the same club. I just cannot fathom what was so massively disagreeable about what I said.

Why do your want to know, so you can try to discriminate people's opinion by age?

If you're 64 you really should have a better handle on your emotions and learn how to speak to people politley and eruditely. Don't just throw out insults to those that have a different opinion to you. You're never too old to learn how to speak to people correctly. I think someone should be blamed for not getting a striker in on time for pre-season. We need to hit the floor running and this was one of the pre-requisites needed for this season.

It's not about taking me seriously, it's about replying in a mature way, debating the points, rather than throwing out insults. But I suppose if you find that difficult then insults are the only retort the Jeremy Kyle generation can muster.
