Safety first. I still haven't seen antone who said we should be pushing for top 4 yet. I did task you withthat but I presume you haven't found any yet, even though you are still perpetuating the myth that it is true.

What a strange post. Of course that's the way I'd write it, because we're on a forum, it's not like the spoken word, you have to emphasise parts of sentences to enable others to understand it, thus putting the word towards the beginning of the sentence...if I'd have written 'My Name is Sarb', the likelyhood would be that someone would be like "I thought your name was Jeff, blah, blah, blah". So I felt that's what I had to say. To say you write on a forum the way you would speak in real life is misjudged though, as that doesn't happen. Either way, frankly, it doesn't really matter. I'm not going to tell you my surname as it's quite a rare one and frankly I'd prefer to not have people following me outside of the forum, which I could unfortunately see happening.

Yep, I bet on Sunderland too, before the teams were announced. Got excellent odds because of that and went home with just over £130. I would have loved to see us do well in a Cup, but my OP is more about the fact that this is NOT what the club is anymore.

After the game there were, but before there weren't. Why are you struggling with this? My point was before the game there were very few people complaining that we put a weaker team out, as it was obvious that we'd do so. However, after we lost, there was an uproar at the squad selection, as if people actually expected any different. I don't know why anyone would expect any different, that is not the club we are anymore. Understand?

But people saw the lineup beforehand, and all our other games this season has been a weaker team, yet no real complaints until we lose.

It kind of is. Very little bleating before the game, loads after as it wasn't what they expected.
