I think he deserves another chance, yes and I don't think that merits questioning. He contributed more last season in goals and assists than Puncheon and Lallana in less games, and your assertion that he doesn't try also befits someone who has rarely watched him (I assume you don't get to many games), so it seems to me you are trying to make him out to be the archetypal 'lazy foreigner', whereas that is just plain wrong. If you weren't so insistent that he has been 'woeful' people may try to treat you with a little more respect. As it is you are referred to as nothing but the forum troll, along with another one or two suspect posters because your opinion is so extreme (and wrong). You write like an adult, yet seem to form opinions like a child would. It's a shame as because you spend so much time on this forum you get to spoil a lot of threads.

But that's it, he hasn't been THAT bad. He's been disappointing vs his fee, but he contributed a good amount last season. This season he seems to be out of favour, but NONE of us know why that is. I don't think his fitness is up to scratch, but then the Italian League is much slower than the Prem, and maybe his fitness is there now and he can't get in based on the form of the team at the moment. We all know you have an irrational hatred of him...

If you had money to invest in property I wouldn't assume he'd be advised to buy on the outskirts of Southampton...that's for sure.
