What has happened to you? Once a bastion of relative calm, you now act like a hysterical tart. Has BS hacked your account or something?
-
Some people could look a bit silly by the end of this window.
-
Bid turned down apparently.
-
That is bloody funny GS, fairplay.
-
I don't think it's a case of him being a casualty, this is his dream, he's been a superb servant for us, this way he gets his move and he doesn't have to hand in a transfer request and spoil his time with us.
-
Well put, exactly this.
-
PLEASE CAN I ASK THAT NO-ONE POST ON THIS WHO IS BADMOUTHING THE BOARD ETC. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME. So, the rest of the board have lost their minds with the fact they can't accept that Pochettino would want to leave, that any players would want to leave, or that any other clubs would have the temerity to bid for our players. Anyway, I wanted a sanctuary away from the madhouse of the mong board for reasoned discussion about the situation/any replacements that we feel would be good. For me, IF Lambert is sold for a decent amount, the board should not stand in his way. He should get his dream move. We will replace him with someone new, and I also would not be surprised to see Osvaldo back, cap in hand next season.
-
It's only 90% complete now, and why wouldn't they? Liquidators would not do this.
-
I bet you £100 that is not happening.
-
So you all think we won't be replacing him then IF he does go? We haven't got a competitive game for nearly 3 months.
-
No, Cortese wanted to sell him, Lambert didn't want to go.
-
Has the £4m been accepted? I thought it was in negotiations.
-
If true then I can't really begrudge him the chance. Don't forget Cortese tried to force him out in January.
-
Can't begrudge him it, but a bit gutted. I think we may give Osvaldo another go.
-
********. That's the problem when writing on a phone...
-
If you rite a sarcastic question like that you're best to put an emoticon after it as sarcasm doesn't translate very well to the written word, especially when it's badly written...

Hysterical reaction to no news...

So, is anyone feeling any better now? I do, and I wasn't even worried! -
I think this is what a lot of the 'hystericals' wanted to hear: Krueger:" I have to underline that we did everything possible for a long period of time to keep Pochettino here. Clearly a contract was offered. "At the same time we didn’t colour code anything, we were very honest in the process and he made his decision and we respect that and move on." .
-
Ok, yep, I'll agree with that.
-
Ask Heisenberg, he used to spend a lot of time on other forums... But yes, yes they are.
-
I assumed you meant prior to the resignation, I guess I misunderstood what you were saying.
-
Which also means before any of our players get sold, so they can make a decision as to whether they want to leave when they know who the new Manager is. Very shrewd.
-
People keep saying this, and I keep asking the same question, but am yet to get a definitive answer. What do you want to be said? What information do you want to be released to the public domain? Do you have an example of how you want it handled from another club? In reaction to the players being interviewed in the papers, that doesn't look good, I agree.
-
I'm glad he said that though, aren't you feeling more assured that we have a number of scouts, domestically and continentally, that were the same ones that recruited Poch and that they were already in action looking for a replacement? Better than a simple 'No' or 'Not yet', and re-assures me for sure that it won't just be a case of Les Reed looking through his address book and appointing Iain Dowie.
-
What do you mean they weren'? He didn't stay, but that doesn't mean they weren't on top of the situation. You cannot FORCE someone to stay?
