The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Because it may well lead to a second referendum as a Lablibsnpgrn coalition. -
Awesome, I've got that.

In what way? By paying more for goods from abroad? By hamstringing our exporters? By increasing costs for those that import from abroad. By devaluing the currency making it easier for foreign investment to take control of our biggest companies? Love to hear some reasons rather than the empty platitudes you guys usually come up with.

Don't think anyone's saying they would win a GE. -

The issue with the first part of that, which I don't necessarily disagree with, is how much of the vote Boris actually gets. I think we may well see a very hung parliament, and then it will be down to the Lib Dems to be kingmakers again (SNP will always side with Labour). Now Jo Swinson has said she would never work in coalition with JC, so does that mean a potential CONLIB coalition again, with the only carrot they can dangle being a second ref? It's an exciting/frightening time for politics, that's for sure. -
Trying to compare footballers loyalty to their employer, and vice versa, to friends, acquaintances and wives/partners is just ******** though.

It's not about what it would solve, it's what will happen. -

EU have already said that Withdrawal Agreement is not for re-negotiation, and Backstop will not be removed. General Election it is. -

Like watching a car crash, or Wes trying to explain basic economics? You know you shouldn't watch, but you can't turn away. -
Well, let's hope he carries through on this: Labour's Chris Bryant asks the new prime minister to scrap the five-week wait to receive the first payment under the universal credit benefits system. He says this provision puts many people into debt as soon as they are moved onto the new system from the old benefits scheme. In reply, Boris Johnson says those migrating on to universal credit can now get a "100% advance" on future payments on day one. Backing the changes to the system, he says the old welfare provisions "kept people trapped on benefits".

I'm not sure someone can be patronising, if the person that is the subject of it doesn't feel patronised. Generally, the way I feel about Wes is that he is here for my/our entertainment, and we really miss him when he's not around. You see how much the threads died when he went away, as no-one really cares about discussing stuff when there's not that idiot on there shouting at the clouds, as Wes does. I think we should be nice, as we don't want him flouncing off again when he doesn't get his way, like in March. -
I think it purely depends on how the team plays. Both TAA and Robertson hardly need to defend, but need to have a great delivery (which they both do in spades).

Not at all - I'm happy to give him a chance, as I said above before you started gloating about voting in someone that won't deliver the right wing policies you want, or the no deal Brexit you want. Traditional Boris is my politics, and at the moment it's looking like traditional Boris. Let's just wait and see what happens, shall we babe? x -

He's as duplicitous as Boris TBH. -
It's not Boof, its any apparently (was mistaken as he gave it as an example).

Ah, those classic Tory policies of increasing public spending. I haven't started anything. I said "Lets see what happens". I'm willing to give him a chance. Not sure where you are reading that I have said anything of doom and gloom. Perhaps you can point it out? You seem very agitated this morning...your gardener back? -
I have said a number of times, why do people think he's anything but that? Because he fell out with Hughes? Hughes is one of the most disliked people in football.
-
That is the plan. Need to sell players first.

Who's having a meltdown? Nobody on this thread from what we can see. As said, he's come out with some very decent, anti Tory policies so far, including increasing police numbers, school funding and NHS spending. Those are policies that all the lefties can get on with, as they're pinko leftie policies. -
We'll get a CB, as long as we can sell some players. That's the proviso.
-
We don't need a CB, we've got Klarer, who is the best young CB in Europe.

Let's see what happens. I still think we'll see a load of pinko leftie Tory policies from him, which will be welcome, but will he hold his nerve with Brexit. Not so sure myself.
