  1. reconcile verb past tense: reconciled; past participle: reconciled 1. restore friendly relations between. "the king and the archbishop were publicly reconciled" 2. make (one account) consistent with another, especially by allowing for transactions begun but not yet completed. "it is not necessary to reconcile the cost accounts to the financial accounts" I'm a bit confused at how you can be reconciled to not signing a player. I may being dim, mind.
  2. "Reconciled"? Do you mean "resigned"?
  3. Depended on us getting rid of Lemina to a British club (or at least before end of our transfer window). Can't take the chance of being lumbered with Lemina past end of August as he'll need to be re-integrated if he doesn't leave.
  4. TBF, Boufal is like a new signing as well.
  5. Transfers like this don't happen until the end of windows as it gives the buying clubs the upper hand when clubs want to get rid. It's pretty standard.
  6. He means there is interest in our players from overseas.
  7. It is what it is. Hopefully if we move Austin today, and Lemina and Carrillo before the end of August, it may mean some money available in January. We could have done with a new CB and DM, but that's what happens if you have been irresponsible with money in the past.
  8. So like the 90's then?
  9. It's generally because of faults but other players, not himself.
  10. Oh, it's a global issue for sure. The thing is, all it takes is one issue and it could all come crashing down. The UK leaving the EU could be that butterfly flapping it's wings prior to the downfall of the world economy and capitalism...or something like that.
  11. I don't think it's true that it's more likely. It's just a personality trait.
  12. It will rely on a failure somewhere, probably along the lines of the 6th largest economy in the world going into recession at the end of October... Personally, I don't know enough about Banking to comment, but if the above is from a reputable source, there is likely to be some rocky times ahead for the global economy. If course, the website looks ********, so I'm assuming it's not.
  13. I think Bednarek has really high potential actually. His last ditch defending is outstanding. If course, it may be that I see him alongside absolute dross all the time so he just looks better.
  14. It's the Brexit thread. It's about doing something that is completely unintelligible. Therefore obfuscation is the order of the day. Edit: Didn't realise you'd spelt it incorrectly as a joke. Good joke.
  15. Seems like Uni was a bad choice for you if you're in poverty. Brexit will also be a very bad choice for someone in your position. May have to sell that games console.
  16. He'll need to back down, apologise, and come back raring to go. Unfortunately, and I don't want to say this in a disparaging way, but generally the Sub Saharan way is to earn as much as you can, chasing the paychecks. It's the culture they're brought up with when the talent is obviously there. This leads to situations like this - the only reason Mane didn't go mental was that we promised him a move the following Summer with a minimum set price we'd take.
  17. TBF, nobody wants him on loan either. Or a free. With £0 wages.
  18. I think the problem is that a lot of Remainers are struggling to see anything good in a country where 17m voters are that ****ing thick. How the hell can we compete when we have these Brexiteer mouth-breathers accounting for circa £17m. Personally, I feel ashamed to be British.
  19. They haven't moved yet, they're in the process. Of course they wouldn't have shown up yet. You'll also recognise that a lot of these businesses are taking people with them - so you'll just see an increase in emigration when it does happen.
  20. Germany and France, and they'll cover it easily with the taxes made from financial institutions moving overseas. One of my friends is heading up the JPM move to Paris, and she reckons a number of other big banks are waiting to see what the new Corp tax rates are - and if not below 8% they'll go as well.
  21. Country desperate for trade deal with ruthless leader of the First World leads to poor trade deal. No ****...
  22. Good lad! It's like Heisenbergs security betting.
  23. I think "couple" should be replaced by "few". Don't see it below 1.04, but then we're in uncharted waters so **** knows.
