What saints goal have you celebrated most?
Ulrich van Gobbel replied to old_southy's topic in The Saints
In no particular order: - Richard Chaplow screamer vs Man U in the Cup in League 1 - me and my mate ended up about 5 rows away from where we were sat. - Lee Barnard to put us 3-2 vs MK Dons at home in League 1 - a crucial game from 0-2 down at HT (special mention to Jono Quick for the quick fire double) - Billy Sharp to go 2-1 up at home vs the blue few - absolute scenes! - Osvaldo vs Man City - a stunning strike which I had a great view of! - Henri Camara to beat Norwich 4-3 - I was driving at the time listening to Solent and nearly crashed! - I also have to mention Rickie's winner vs Scotland for England! I went absolutely mental and I also had a tenner on him to score the last goal! -
That is incredible!

Has anyone recieved their spurs tickets yet?
Ulrich van Gobbel replied to DanT's topic in The Saints
I ordered 4 x extra tickets last Thursday but they haven't arrived yet. They usually send them in batches though and there has been an Easter bank holiday weekend inbetween. -
I said this on another thread but I would love Bournemouth to go up. My family settled in Bournemouth 12 years ago after my Dad left the Army and they've always been my 'second team'. It will be interesting to have a couple of games next season with a bit of added local spice - nothing like THE Derby ofcourse but a local Derby nonetheless. I would absolutely love to see Brentford go up too, a good mate of mine came through their academy and they are only down the road from me. It would be amazing to see them in the Premier League having watched us play at Griffin Park back in League 1 on a cold Tuesday night (1-1 draw, Lloyd James for us and an onloan Wojciech Szczęsny in goal for Brentford!).

Agreed. Or even Panti-what's-his-name-million from Sunderland if they go down.

Never been so happy for England to concede... Get in big man!

The cost of my season ticket has reduced too.. -£29/-4.6% to be exact. Well done to the club, I certainly wasn't expecting the prices to go down!

http://sfcne.ws/WilsonAnnouncement Southampton Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Ross Wilson as Director of Scouting & Recruitment. I am excited about working with Ross and by what he brings to our club" Les Reed Wilson moves from Huddersfield Town, who he joined in August 2012 as Head of Football Operations. He was later appointed as a director of the club, in January 2014. The 32 year-old previously worked as Head of Football Business at Watford after a seven-year spell as Head of Football Development at his hometown club, Falkirk. Wilson will head up Southampton’s Scouting & Recruitment department, overseeing 20 full-time members of staff based at the Staplewood Campus as well as a further 30 scouts and representatives operating across the UK and Europe. Executive Director of Football Les Reed commented: “I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Ross and say that I am excited about working with him and by what he brings to our club. “As with all player and staff recruitment, we have undertaken a thorough and intensive search for a new Director of Scouting and Recruitment. We are delighted that process has led to this appointment. “Ross comes to us from another progressive club in Huddersfield Town, where he has been Head of Football Operations with a strong emphasis on player recruitment and analytics. He has extensive experience at clubs in England and Scotland, and has built a strong network of contacts in the UK and abroad. “He is well-respected in the industry and, as an executive director at Huddersfield, brings with him a level of experience in senior management, which will contribute to keeping us at the cutting edge and ensuring due diligence is applied to all of our recruitment procedures. “Ross will work across all age groups from the under-nines through to the first team, and will lead our recruitment operations into and through the next five-year plan.”

I'm really looking forward to this one, I'd take a draw but feel there is the potential for something special to happen! I'm in corporate at the Bridge tomorrow with a couple of customers (one Chelsea and one Saints) so will have to be on my best behaviour!

Manchester United fans have been the loudest away fans so far this season.

Personally, I'd take a goal.

FAO London Saints fans - West Brom game
Ulrich van Gobbel replied to Ulrich van Gobbel's topic in The Saints
Randomly, it's a WBA pub in the middle of East London. The owner was a WBA fan.. So they're showing our game and Man U vs Sunderland today. Decent little pub with great beers! Although, I've found out today that the pub has changed hands so may not be so West Brom biased going forward.. You coming down? -
