  1. **** me that place was dreadful!
  2. I can vouch for the Bootleggers - cracking little pub and fantastic selection of beers!
  3. Rooney and Jones injured and may not be fit for 2nd Leg vs St Etienne Wednesday night apparently..
  4. Similar for me.. getting an early train from High Wycombe to Marylebone then wandering down to Baker Street to meet some mates. Then Met Line back up to Wembley a couple of hours before KO. Monday has been booked off so if we win I could end up anywhere!
  5. Imants Bleidelis.
  6. Yeah I think you're right. I bought 4 x Hospitality tickets for the Liverpool game through my company but I put them all against my customer number so it wasn't an issue.
  7. Yep, fingers crossed.. a positive sign in light of the apparent Barcelona interest.
  8. From Caceres' Instagram story..
  9. I'd get into Paddington from Maidenhead (I used to live there) and tube over to Baker Street (less than 10 mins direct) - there will be loads of Saints fans drinking in the bars around there.. Then you can either get on the Met line from Baker Street direct to Wembley Park (less than 15 mins direct) or walk 5 mins to London Marylebone and get a 9 minute train to Wembley Stadium.

  11. He's got one to the tune of She's Electric by Oasis - quite original for once I think?
  12. Agree with those who say don't bother drinking in Wembley.. apart from the stadium it is a desolate hole. We have been allocated the Green Man pub but it will be totally rammed - although the atmosphere will probably be very good! Where I live is only a 25 minute direct train to Wembley but I'm planning to head to Marylebone/Baker Street first and go for a few beers with some mates before heading to the stadium an hour or two before KO. In terms of the Lower Tier and the atmosphere - I'm sat there in the right hand corner with 12 season ticket holders from Blocks 38/39 who will be standing and singing.. I sincerely hope the majority do the same! If you've paid £70+ to sit in silence watching your team at a major cup final then you may as well watch it on Sky.
  13. As fate would have it.. Jose will be making a quick return to St. Mary's in the claret and blue of West Ham. I for one will give him a great reception. He has served us incredibly well from dropping down a league from Palace to join "the project" in League 1 - from promotions, to Wembley and back to the Premier League. He has contributed as much as anyone to our 7 years of consecutively higher finishes and, at the same time, he would never have achieved his personal success of representing his country without Southampton Fooball Club, let alone win the European Championships. We have a lot to be thankful for to Jose.. just as he has a lot to be thankful for to our Club.
  14. And his West Ham debut could be against... Saints at St. Mary's.
  15. I don't think Swansea would sell GS under any circumstances this window. He could be the difference between staying up and relegation for them.
  16. Great names.. they sound like characters from a new Guy Ritchie film!
  17. I'm meeting a few lads at The Twelve Pins too! Can't wait for tonight!
  18. Like it.. what about.. You score worldies, no keeper's ever gonna save these, Because after all, You're Sofiane Boufal!
  19. Bit of a headache on Sunday morning mate!
  20. More in the Pelle mould mate. He would be a steal at the price Wolfsburg will be willing to sell him for.
  21. A top 10 finish. Qualification into Europa League knockout stages. A strong run in the FA or League Cup - semi finals. And some memorable performances like Arsenal 4-0, Liverpool 3-2 from last season.
