No excuses tonight. We have to win. Looked at our remaining fixtures earlier. We have 4 home games left against non top 6 sides, 2 of which are derbies. Time and favour are running out

Looking at tomorrow's fixtures and our next three away games, this match is huge

Good luck Nigel-that's a tough gig he's got there

Revealed! The 'luckiest' referee for every Premier League side

We've lost our last 5 games refereed by Mike Jones -
Fulham charged Hull 15 quid in the 4th round last year and Spurs 30 quid in the 5th round. If tickets are 15 I can see them selling out pretty quick

His stock was so high when he left us. The Reading job really wasn't the right move

For me, this fixture will forever be associated with Oscar Gobern's kung fu tackle in 2011. Long may it live
-
if City have two minor weaknesses, it is the lack of pace of Kompany and weaknesses defending set pieces. For those reasons alone I would probably play Long and JWP and save Charlie for next weekend They may also rest a few. I think KDB and Silva have played every game for them this season

A minute's silence is the only reasonable tribute

Bet Coutinho wins

Yes and the two people with the greatest influence in young footballers' lives are the parents and the agents who are often just out for a quick buck. If only talented young players realised how short and precious their time at the top of the game is.

Phil Neville touting himself for the job. Never going to happen but that would be hilarious

I just don't think he sees management as a true discipline or life's work. The stories of him not coaching much and going to Portugal a lot are testament to that. Whatever you think of Mourinho, Pochettino, Klopp, Conte, Guardiola et al, management and tactics is an obsession to them and it's why they're at the top.

Bertrand must feel right at home

We HAVE to address the weaknesses at the top of the order for next year. Apart from that, we're a pretty decent side Carberry and Smith going does at least free some money up

20-1 at tea. I'll go with 128 all out

That's a pig of a decision

That statement from a few weeks ago is looking as stupid now as it did then. My guess is that we've agreed to sell him next summer, as long as he gets his head down for the next 12 months and apologises to board/manager. This gives us time to identify targets without looking desperate post-sale I won't boo him but I won't look back at his time here as favourably as it could have been. A professional attitude like Mane wouldn't have gone amiss and would have stood him in good stead.

What if someone calls asking for Gardos?

55 hours to go before we can park this thread for a few months

This is a player who got a full back tattoo of himself scoring in a champions league last 16 tie they lost, so maybe they shouldn't expect the most well rounded individual

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day

If they want to get Graziano it needs to be soon, before his winter hibernation Koeman wants the Barca job and knows a couple of good years at Everton may well get it. If he can spend his way there then he'll be happy to oblige -

It's like the 'ooh candy' sketch from Family Guy -
I presume they've done this personally to get around Chinese FDI rules?
