Just to clear up the Long penalty incident- it was DEFINITELY in the box-had a great view from the Chapel. Long's slide marks dragged from about a yard in the box, and was pushed about 2 yards in the box to about 3 yards out of it. That linesman had a shocker all day, missed the most blatant Ipswich throw in in the second half. Comical

I'd go: Forster Mccarthy Fonte Gardos Targett Schneiderlin Reed JWP Tadic Long Pelle Got a suspicion that McCarthy will make 7 for 8 changes on Sunday for them-think they've got Derby next which is a big game in the championship race

Given that 4th place is likely to be around 66 points, Liverpool would have to do something like 13 wins, 4 draws, 4 defeats to get to that mark. There's not much room for a slip up in those games if they're to do it

Our games against Palace have sort of summed up where we've been over the last 5 or 6 years. Remember a listless 4-1 defeat on the opening day one year and a 3-0 defeat with the youngsters in 2008-9. Then a dominant double 2-0 in the championship promotion season and then a Lallana/Lambert/Rodriguez inspired double last year

That reminded me a lot of our 2-2 draw with Arsenal last year
