What is the point of Adam Armstrong in a game like this? He's meant to be quick but he's had a few chance to run on the break now and he's fucked it up every time.

I know Arsenal are top of the league and everything, but we just look awful. So passive, sloppy passing, our captain barely involved. Looks like we have the referee on our side at least.

Not too concerned about a striker to be honest, we've scored 7 goals in 5 games including against 3 of the Super League Six which isn't bad. Sorting the defence seems more important to me, and with Bazunu, ABK, Lavia and our new coach we've strengthened across the defensive half of the pitch. Assuming JWP continues his usual set piece success rates, we'll be fine for goals. It's stopping them going in that's been the problem the last few seasons, and I think we've done a very good job addressing that.

Good move for him if legit, he's a good defender when he gets a run of games. Obviously will have to work hard because Bournemouth are going straight back down, but he should get some decent game time.
